Oscar "Ozzy" Lusth (born August 23, 1981, in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico) is an American reality show veteran contestant who has appeared on several shows, including Survivor: Cook Islands, where he finished as the runner-up; Survivor: Micronesia; and Survivor: South Pacific. He also competed in the 34th edition of Survivor: Game Changers! Ozzy is known to be a challenge beast, but Ozzy has never won survivor!
In today's video we are going to be diving into the ruthless rise and fall of Ozzy and if he should be considered a survivor legend!

Gotta give ozzy mad props for winning all those redemption island duels. It’s not just physical challenges. He beat people in balance, beat brainy people like Edna and Cochran in puzzles, it’s insane how he could win in every type of challenge
One vote and one challenge away from being a two time winner! A Survivor legend and icon in my eyes!

I think the season that actually changed most minds about Ozzy was WaW where Sophie played a great game. Looking back to her first season, Sophie proved to have a better read on Ozzy than we thought at the time South Pacific aired.

Ozzy is ABSOLUTELY a survivor legend. I consider anyone who has played at least 3 times and made at least 2 finales to be an AUTOMATIC legend. Parv, Amanda, cirie, Boston Rob, Tina, Colby, Tony, Sarah, russell, Sandra, coach, and of course Ozzy, all LEGENDS. The bigger question to me is who is a legend who hasn’t met these requirements. People like Natalie a, Jeremy, hatch, James, jt, Rupert, Cochran, Malcolm, etc etc etc these people are all more debatable for me but if u consider them legends I wouldn’t argue!

Ozzy is and always be my most favorite Survivor Player....Others were just too scared of him because he was a challenge beast at practically every challenge on every season he was in. He's the most days played on Survivor for the males, that shows something.

Ozzy is definitely a survivor legend. He's getting video's and documentary's made about him. Only because he was so dominate on the show.

Ozzy is a survivor legend and imo he is easily in the top 5 survivor players ever. I truly love ozzy and honestly I don't think we will ever see a player like him again. Unfortunatly I don't think he will ever win and he's past his prime when it comes to his physical game so unfortunatly he has fallen from his pedestal but will always remain in legend
Ozzy is like that kid that scored 100% in a few subjects and failed or did poorly in few other subjects. Sure, still above average student, but not well rounded enough to win. (Although he was one challenge away from winning in South Pacific and one vote away in Cook Islands)
Ozzy would have won instead of Yul if it wasn't for Adam "selling" his jury vote to Yul in exchange for not being voted out earlier. He said he actually respected Ozzy play more but felt morally bound to keep his word to Yul. I wonder if in that case Ozzy would have come back so many times.
The moment he bullied John kockren is when he died in my eyes. I loved him otherwise. But instead of helping kockren and becoming his member. Ozzy decided to be an absolute dick and turn every one against John. And they wondered why he turned on the tribe. I loved how ozzy was kicked out afterwards. Now I’ll always root against him. You don’t treat people like crap and succeed
I do think he should have teamed up with Sandra in game changers. I don't get why he wouldn't. Sandra was not winning and neither was Ozzy unless he could get a core alliance going which he clearly hadn't at that point.
There was no downfall during Survivor, he simply was too big of a threat in all seasons after Cook Islands..and him losing the get the grip challange..he has gotten lot older and Tai who won the challange had insane advantage of being 50kg with tiny feet.Ozzy and Yul are definitely in the top 3 male players. Sure he got a bit of an ego but thats no big deal, considering he has the skills and feats to back it up. In South Pacific, he was so much more entertaining and relatable than Coach. The true downfall was him creating an OnlyFans account.

Ozzy is one of my all time favorites. He definitely qualifies as a survivor legend.
I would say he is a legend, but since fans vs favourites he lost all his shine for me. Yes, he's great at challnges. But oh my soul I can't handle his ego.

Ozzy won in ways that were not million , but won a car, Player of the season and no one came close ever!. Ozzy is the Best by far!

It’s not controversial. She played a great game in her first 2 seasons making it to the end and getting second place twice. Then got past the halfway point in heroes vs villains where her alliance could have gotten to the end had they voted differently.
He's my favorite Survivor player ever.

Ozzy fan here yeah Ozzy definitely fell off, when watching game changers I didn't really care for his game and I just didn't feel like he was even there. Yeah Ozzy is a legend and was one of my favorite players but he should have just not came or even get casted like other game changers man it was disappointing

What do you think of Micronesia:Fans vs Favorites Ozzy because I have a love hate relationship with Ozzy this season.Ozzy is great in challenges this season like always but I could see that his ego was too huge to see that the girls wanted him out.I will give him props for working on his social game but it still sucks.I know now that South Pacific redeemed him because he was the version I wanted to see in this season.

Ozzy was a god in challenges this season.Micronesia and South Pacific proved that he was still good in challenges and still a great provider.Game Changers was a let down for me because Ozzy was washed this time
I like the content, but I am not really a fan of the transition noises, especially at the beginning. It is quite loud, and happens a lot. I found it quite distracting making it a bit hard to follow.
Thank you for the feedback! I will experiment with the sound level and different effects! The issue is the first 30 seconds of the video are the most important
I'm pretty sure that Ozzy's closest Ally I think his name was Eric got voted out during the merge
For me he jumped the shark with the Amanda showmance coupled with the Black Widow Brigade blindside...I don't think he ever fully recovered his game from there. His jury speech at the end of Micronesia was just UGH

Ozzy has been on the wrong side of a 5-4 vote twice, - once in the jury vote and once the first time he was voted off. Yul has been on the right side of two such votes.

lmfao i’m a survivor fan but i watch the seasons randomly and he’s already very annoying in Survivor Micronesia tbh. His only strategy was eliminating that person who brings up his name 🙄
you could say he tried to get into Hollywood more,but failed like many and tried something else and failed as well you can say typical human life. and sticking still in hollywood just to get by, I heard he's bisexual now, cant assume anything how? but I have my opinion.
Don't forget, he's also obnoxious as fuck. I think that's got more to do with it than his being so uninteresting, though he is that too.

Yes he's a legend. He is my favorite player. But i agree he plays the same game every time. Dominates physically and prides himself on feeding the tribe. His social game is okay but strategically is where his game lacks. He'll never win because the moment he steps on the matt everyone is already thinking of when they can get rid of him. The fact that even returning players are scared of him shows what a legend he is! I do agree though game changers was his worst season
