This is the most inspiring patch idea of the decade. Every effect you have has been converted into a voice. Now imagine modulating each effect, some of which have 5-10 patch points, from e.g. a sequencer. The amount of sonic potential and change you can achieve in lock step with the melody or the beat is insane. I am looking at my mimeophon and its 7 patch points, and imagining how I vary them all at once at different points of the melody... Very good idea, Mr Ali!
Great idea. Very musical jams, too. Quick question. Do I understand correctly that the only way you're manually interacting with the rack while jamming is through the BeatStep, on which you're mapping 4 pads to gates sent out to each of the 4 envelopes on Envy machine?
Yea that's right! I'm using 7 pads in total. 4 going to envy machine, 1 going to Instruo cnoc (which is just another envelope), and a plain gate going to data bender, and one to beads too.
@@TheUnperson Many thanks. Keep up the amazing work I'd love to see a video (or a series) that focuses on creative uses of the Arturia controllers (Keystep 37, BeatStep and KeyStep Pro) for jamming on a rack.
Cheers man! The BSP really is a great sequencer. I just got an Oxi one through for review and it's a bit intimidating tho it seems to be mega powerful.
@@TheUnperson damn I’m very excited for you. I think you’ll really get on with it, it’s a lot but really intuitive after a few weeks. Matricial mode is bonkers though 🥴
Happy New Year! 🎉 Fantastic video!!! I got a bunch of goodies this past month that I cannot wait to play through my rack effects in this way… probably not as well organized but hopefully to similar effect lol 😂
Loved it! I try to do similar things w/ the modular part of my performance case. You gave me some really nice ideas for better control and performability, thank you. I'd recommend adding a joystick controller to that setup! I use a Tesseract Stonk and it adds a lot.
I think that I'm going to have to try something like this using my T1 as the sequencer. Really like how you are able to use the BeatStep to play the effects, never thought of doing something like that. Thank you!
don't forget you have more envelopes on pams. envy machine is my current fav. so awesome. that pitch shifter on happy is also one one of my favs. sooooo good. lovely patching again dude. lush
@@TheUnperson You can assign one of the four inputs on the top of pams as a trigger for one of the channels (you can use all four inputs as triggers). It was added in a later firmware update.
@@TheUnperson I have to keep re watching all the videos on pams pro. Alm's vids are great. It's so powerful. I really need to get the AXON 2 for it. Love you vids man. th-cam.com/video/fG2sVueBaCs/w-d-xo.html
Perfect example of making more music with less gear... very inspiring!

Brilliant. Thanks for breaking down the patch and signal flow chain too. Really handy to understand that. 😎
It's a fun wee setup!
Have you thought of releasing some new tracks based around these newer ambient jams? I'd definitely add these to my playlist! 😎 @@TheUnperson
@jurgendabeedin441 I have been compiling some of the better recordings to release in some form. Hopefully will have something put together soon! :D
Always some amazing tunes and ideas! I like you stick with a small rack. That way everything seems doable.
Thanks! I've tried using bigger racks but it's too confusing haha!
This sounds like so much fun
Great patch!!
oh man Jam 2 sounds just fantastic, very video game soundtrack vibe, great stuff
Pure Magic like always ❤. The last patch sounds so lush ❤

Came here to clarify that exact thing. Thx
Quite beautiful!
Thank you!
Great jam, thanks for the video.👍
Cheers man!
Starting to regret not buying a beatstep pro yet lol what a dope use of this controller and eurorack!

Brilliant! Gives me inspiration to try this with my rig
It's a lot of fun!
Well done ! 👍🏼

Dang Boy, you got more beats than the A-Team. Best yet. (and you make it look too easy)
I pity the fool who ain't making beats!

Great jams in this one Ali. Finish some of these off and get them on streaming for us brother. ❤
Cheers man! I absolutely will put some tracks out soon 😅
Best jams of 2025!
Hey Scotland, what's up?! Hot intro music.. 🔥 🌴 🍸
