Love this layout. I would swap kitchen floor to ceiling cupboard and place built in oven/microwave there instead, and just have a stovetop with strong air filter opposite. Its so important to get rid of steam and grease in an open plan area.
I like this house. It's small enough for me but, not too small as to feel cramped. Love the front porch. Plenty of room for guests to shelter from the rain while I make my way to answer the doorbell. Nice bar. I would upgrade the sink and faucet in the kitchen. I like the gray cabinet color with the black pulls and the black tile. The doors are divided into two sections which I have never seen before but, I like it. Big plus that the water heater is easy to get to and not suck in a hole behind a panel with screws in a closet. Not mad at the W/D closet. It's not a utility room or laundry room but it does the job, and I could fold clothes on the dining table. Love the sliding doors. I would add a 15 feet deep deck as wide as the house on to the rear and possibly add a door into the master. Two nicely sized bedrooms with closets. I would require a pull-down attic stair. Hall bath is average size but, that is normal in most houses today. Love the window above to let sunshine in. In the south, HVAC units are normally outside so that hall closet would become a linen closet. Love the transom windows above the regular windows. In the master I would not want a transom above my bed. If I add that big deck then, maybe a sliding door here too or, make both atrium doors instead. I would want a tall linen cupboard in the bath instead of those shelves. I live alone so, the knee knocker toilet would be fine but, I might opt for a pocket door into the bathroom instead. Big closet. Nice shower. The plan says "Eat in Kitchen" but, there is a nook which is not really IN the kitchen. Kitchen adjacent at best and, the barstools are in the living room. So, if you are eating in the kitchen, you are probably standing at the sink with the munchies. Thanks for the tour.

Now, I really like that for me. Retiring in 6 months, and that would be perfect size home. Would just love pocket doors at utility area, and maybe some closet space from Master bedroom closet and make a bigger shower with a bench.
With the laundry area next to the dining room table you can always use a dining room table for folding clothes since lots of people eat at the counter most of the time anyway. That way you get more use out of the dining room.
Sure make excuses for a horrible design... And the master bath- have to be blunt but if hubby is taking a dump the lady cannot get to her clothes and steaming up your clothes closet is bad...
maybe a rectangular table up against the wall so walking around is easier. when u need more seating pull table out and raise the dropleaf. kinda like it was years back when dining rooms were useful rather than showpieces.
The exterior of this home is so appealing with all the stone work and the beautiful front porch. I could definitely see a nice back porch coming off of the sliding glass doors too!

The kitchen is the best feature of this house....I love it! Very good arrangement of cabinetry and counter space. Please continue to show as much of the counter space in both kitchen and bathrooms as you can. Women have a lot of "stuff" and we need counters to put it on. One thing I'd like to suggest about your videos which are awesome by the way. I would love it if you would begin the video...or the inside showing of the house...at the front door. Preferably standing IN the front door as a lot of us would love to see the perspective when entering the home. What would you (or a guest!) first see when they open the front door...that alone is half the excitement of the house! That may be a slight exaggeration but it is very important.

This is a beautiful home.. Not a fan of the washer and dryer in the dining room. I think I would take one of the bedrooms and make it a utility room as I would only need a two bedroom. I love this double wide. I am very impressed with the placement of the kitchen. I LOVE that the water heater and the furnace are accessed via regular doors in public spaces.
Hey Chance! Good video! That train didn't make too much noise. We use to live just about 300-400 yards from train tracks. But they soundproofed the apartments so we barely heard the trains unless we had a door or window open. We could sit outside on the patio and watch them go by if we wanted to. I use to like counting the cars. Some trains were very short and some were so long you'd either lose track of the number you'd counted, or just plain old get tired of counting! Well there are things about this house I like and things I absolutely hate! I know you can't do anything about these houses, Chance, but I think, sometimes, the manufacturer reads the comments too. So hopefully they can do something about things if enough people complain about it. Of course, if just one person complains that's too bad for that one person! Majority wins! Also I'm sure a few things can be changed, but I don't think what I am going to talk about can be on the first ones - not enough room. The things I am really complaining about in this one! #1 - the space between the cabinets going into the kitchen from living room. If I have to be in my wheelchair there is no way I could get through there without ruining the cabinets as the wheels would scrape the cabinets! One of those things that the majority won't be complaining about I'm sure. #2 - the laundry room is just a closet they decided to put off the dining room! I hope there are others that hate that as much as I do! Don't like that breaker box being in the dining room either. They could at least try and hide it or something. #3 - there is No Back Door! Except for the sliding glass doors and the front door, there is no other outside door in the place. Where are you going to put a garage? Not at the sliding glass doors that's for sure! A detached garage is the only option and that is a problem for me, but probably not for those that aren't handicapped. #4) there's No pantry and no where to put one! Another reason to dislike there being no place to put a garage that's connected to the house. With one, you could build a pantry inside the garage. Now for the few things I'd change but Not because I Hate them! I just prefer things a certain way. #1) I'd put a fireplace of some kind in the Living Room. #2) The biggest guest bedroom would be turned into my Library Office Room with a small sitting area. Shelves all around the room, floor to ceiling, and some even in the middle of the floor if room. The smaller guest bedroom would be my Music Studio Room. #3) The microwave would need to be moved. It's too high for my short self to reach and as my handicap makes it impossible for me to climb, I can't even use a stool to reach it. We don't need a dishwasher so remove it and put another cabinet in it's place. I'd want a gas cook stove. #4) In the Master Bathroom I'd need to put a handicapped tub/shower combo in place of the shown shower, as there isn't room for both a shower and a tub. Commode area seemed okay, so don't have to worry about that. I like that closet just fine! The rest is just fine the way it is. But I guess we'd need to go for a slightly bigger house to get all the space we need. Husband doesn't have a place for his Gym nor his hobby room in this place, or most places actually unless it's a bigggg place. Neither bedroom is big enough for the Gym and I'd rather his hobby room Not be in the house; and although it is right now, he'd rather it wasn't too. Oh well I'm just dreaming anyway!! Have to win the lottery to get any of these homes! We're too old for a loan and retired on a fixed small income besides. Like I said, I'm dreaming! Again, Chance, good video! You usually do make a good one. Even when you first started you didn't do too badly! Practice makes perfect and you are nearly to the point of perfection now! But don't let it go to your head! Very nice home. The laundry area that abuts the dining room reminds me of floor plans of apartments. The placement of the breaker box in the dining area detracts from overall home appeal. I liked the exterior. The stone added a nice touch and curb appeal. I was surprised there was no stone inside to complement the stone outside. Nice tour, as always. Thank you.
Here’s how manufactured home architects select the locations of breaker boxes and water heaters: Pin the floor plan on the wall. Have their six year old throw a dart at it. There’s your spot!
What a sweet little home! I love the floor plan. It could use a coat closet and a linen closet, but you could probably work around that. I just love it!
Pantries are a real "must have" for me too. Wish builders would use more sliding pocket doors in walls for these and many other places, unless they're actually expecting to need hanging or mounting space on other side of doors.
For what all that doesn't come with this home like linen closets, Pantry and cheap extras the price is about $100thousand to high or more. THere out of there minds. nothing against you Chance, you do a great job and thank you kiddo
Love it when the vents are on the floor. King bed and two nightstands equals no air flow. Yep. Great idea. Stop placing the dryer in the center or side of the laundry room. Make it so you can go straight out. Much easier to keep clean. Eliminate the little pantry in the center of the counters across from the stove, make those upper and lower cabinets go all the way across. I have never heard my wife ever say "I have way too much counter space". Even though I have tried to give her counters that go all the way around the kitchen. LoL.

I would take the washer/dryer and move it to smallest bedroom and do an island in front of w/d and build cabinets floor to ceiling for storage. Where the w/d is now I would close wall off and open it to master and make walk in closet. Redo the bathroom and make a bigger bathroom with lots of storage. You just can't get enough storage. I only need 2 bedrooms. But it's beautiful. Absolutely love the kitchen

To solve the problems the first commenter mentioned put a stackable washer dryer and a full pantry next to it. Put a cabinet above commodes and change the flat mirrors to inset Medicine chests. I have never understood why houses don’t have built in medicine chests anymore.
This is a very nice home. The floor is beautiful. Plenty of light and I like how it's very open. To be a smaller home, I think it still has a lot of potential.
All the windows bringing in the natural light is simply amazing. I love it. I live in what seems to me, a dark dreary apartments surrounded by trees and other apartments towering over. I need all the natural light I can get. Lol
Love this little home and it’s just what we are looking for. The only thing I’d change if the step counter in the kitchen. We want a bigger one level counter. It’s worth loosing a little living room for it. Also, must have a door on the commode.
I like the little window above the shub. Let's in light but no prying eyes. Air vents in wall or ceiling level would be better. LOVE the side-by-side W D closet with the 2 cabinets & mini-drying rob in-between.
The shower 12:00 didn't have a bench. I'm senor citizen and my knees and back, prevent me from standing up for a long period. I take shower, not baths. But the home is beautiful
Beautiful, I don’t need all the top cabinets in the kitchen especially over on the side of stove and fridge, to short. Don’t mind the washer & dryer in kitchen, that’s where it was when I was a child. The master bathroom shower looks kind of small. Truthfully I would redo the side of the bedrooms to were you could walk down one side and access all the bedrooms and switch the master bedroom & the master bathroom. But I like it. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰
I would do farmhouse sink with sprayer. I love that there is not rugs. I wouldn't have a dishwasher. But I would love to see barn doors and built in dressers in every bedroom. Walk in showers only for my family. Love all the storage

Only 2 things I'd like to mention : - 1⃣The price for such this house about 5 years ago would be around $60,000 (if new) but now become something excruciating..... 2⃣ How can we move Queen size bed through the bedroom door? Isn't that door too narrow?
I see a lot of features that I love, like the front porch. I don't like the water heater in the kitchen though and how narrow space is to get into the kitchen from the living room. This is a perfect little home.
I agree on the walking space is too narrow. If people are thinking of this for retirement you can't get a wheelchair around in any of this space if needed as a person ages.
Well I loved this house just need 5 acres to sit it on. The closet was big enough to put in a chest of drawers for linen and towels. Got lucky there. Very nice home.

I would roll the laundry space into the master bedroom, add a stand alone tub and a stackable washer and dryer.

What a sweet little home! I love the floor plan. It could use a coat closet and a linen closet, but you could probably work around that. I just love it!

Pantries are a real "must have" for me too. Wish builders would use more sliding pocket doors in walls for these and many other places, unless they're actually expecting to need hanging or mounting space on other side of doors.
For what all that doesn't come with this home like linen closets, Pantry and cheap extras the price is about $100thousand to high or more. THere out of there minds. nothing against you Chance, you do a great job and thank you kiddo

Stop placing the dryer in the center or side of the laundry room. Make it so you can go straight out. Much easier to keep clean.
Eliminate the little pantry in the center of the counters across from the stove, make those upper and lower cabinets go all the way across. I have never heard my wife ever say "I have way too much counter space". Even though I have tried to give her counters that go all the way around the kitchen. LoL.

I was so hoping the master bath had a garden tub. I still want one but I only need 2 bedrooms
I would take the washer/dryer and move it to smallest bedroom and do an island in front of w/d and build cabinets floor to ceiling for storage. Where the w/d is now I would close wall off and open it to master and make walk in closet. Redo the bathroom and make a bigger bathroom with lots of storage. You just can't get enough storage. I only need 2 bedrooms. But it's beautiful. Absolutely love the kitchen

To solve the problems the first commenter mentioned put a stackable washer dryer and a full pantry next to it. Put a cabinet above commodes and change the flat mirrors to inset Medicine chests. I have never understood why houses don’t have built in medicine chests anymore.

All the windows bringing in the natural light is simply amazing. I love it. I live in what seems to me, a dark dreary apartments surrounded by trees and other apartments towering over. I need all the natural light I can get. Lol
Love this little home and it’s just what we are looking for. The only thing I’d change if the step counter in the kitchen. We want a bigger one level counter. It’s worth loosing a little living room for it. Also, must have a door on the commode.

I like the little window above the shub. Let's in light but no prying eyes. Air vents in wall or ceiling level would be better. LOVE the side-by-side W D closet with the 2 cabinets & mini-drying rob in-between.

The shower 12:00 didn't have a bench. I'm senor citizen and my knees and back, prevent me from standing up for a long period. I take shower, not baths. But the home is beautiful
I love benches in showers, too. So relaxing, especially with a hand wand.
Beautiful, I don’t need all the top cabinets in the kitchen especially over on the side of stove and fridge, to short. Don’t mind the washer & dryer in kitchen, that’s where it was when I was a child. The master bathroom shower looks kind of small. Truthfully I would redo the side of the bedrooms to were you could walk down one side and access all the bedrooms and switch the master bedroom & the master bathroom. But I like it. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰

I would do farmhouse sink with sprayer. I love that there is not rugs. I wouldn't have a dishwasher. But I would love to see barn doors and built in dressers in every bedroom. Walk in showers only for my family. Love all the storage

Only 2 things I'd like to mention : - 1⃣The price for such this house about 5 years ago would be around $60,000 (if new) but now become something excruciating..... 2⃣ How can we move Queen size bed through the bedroom door? Isn't that door too narrow?

I see a lot of features that I love, like the front porch. I don't like the water heater in the kitchen though and how narrow space is to get into the kitchen from the living room. This is a perfect little home.
You could easily put the water heater underneath if you put the home on a block or poured concrete foundation.
I agree on the walking space is too narrow. If people are thinking of this for retirement you can't get a wheelchair around in any of this space if needed as a person ages.
Well I loved this house just need 5 acres to sit it on. The closet was big enough to put in a chest of drawers for linen and towels. Got lucky there. Very nice home.

Love this chance! I don't mind the washer and dryer near dinning cause folding doors will look great. Only thing that I would change is need showroom package on guest bath and fogged glass. The plain gets a o dirty. Thanks Chance!

Mentioned this a few videos back. The side paneling looks the same on a good amount of these Pre fab home. That brick or stone would take it to the next level! Wouldn't be as affordable though.

Bob Villa (This Old House) had some info about fake stone finishes recently; they can look like native stone from anywhere in the country, & atho' pricey don't WEIGH as much when shipped: check his website.

I called my daughter in to look at this one, and she loved it. I would love to have this one, but we can't have these in the area I live in. The siding, and porch were great. I would really like to see one of these being put together.
