- Inspired from real life artillery tactic called MRSI (Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact), so I decide to try make it happen in War Thunder. Although, it is not really effective in current battles of War Thunder, but it is pretty cool!

That’s not possible unless there’s a shell that has a different travel velocity. Mathematically, you’re only gonna be able to have three arcs if you’re using the same shell

Then we have 4 arcs for 2 types of shells (2 for each).

Depending on the range and the terrain you can have upwards of 3.
On a flat surface maximum range you’re only getting one because any decrease or increase of elevation the rounds will fall short. However with terrain deformation the point at which the arcs intersect can be the same.
The artillery term is Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact (MRSI). With proper artillery you can have many rounds land at the same time, because you can adjust the powder charge for each round and subsequently the velocity. However, in war Each round has a fixed charge and as a result fixed velocity. So you’re only gonna be able to get two rounds to impact at the same time on a flat surface and with terrain deformation three.

I reckon, remove arty as a mechanic from the game, and instead have it broadcast a specific coordinate on the map for all the enthused tankers to take pot shots at
That's how you supposed to do it with a drone and helped you navigating your aiming, guys.

thank you, my career doesn't relate with physics, and it isn't so hard, you only need patience to figure it out.
The groundwork for this is physics, but you don't need any to *do* it. Otherwise every FISTer would have a degree in mechanics.

I have a question i dont play warthunder but does hitting all shells at the same time help with the penertartion (it would realistically but this is a game so just wondering) but nonetheless this is indeed very impressive and a beautiful show of skill

sadly, Gaijin does not let us do that.
The gunpowder charge of the artillery shells in the game is maximized. This prevents angular shots.

Would using a tank destroyer that uses a howitzer or flak gun like the sfl be harder or easier?

actually not much, this technique is the combine of high-angle shot and double-tap shot which I already knew how to do.
Mb i missing something, but what the point of using 3of32 bcz it's worse than 3of70 all the way.
I use both in this video, first 2 shells are 3OF32 and the last is 3OF70 because different velocity and I want to make it impact simultaneously
i wonder if vehicle like bkan 1c can also do this considering it has only 3s reload
The shell will never fall down, it only work with some shells that have 250m/s velocity or below, hope gaijin will fix that
eh,most arty dont work here cuz well they are designed for up to like 20km range,bkan for example can go 25.6 which is kinda air map size@@loner1512
Only possible in war thunder, the fact is since auto loader of 100mm cannon needs a specific angle to reload. I don’t think it can return to what it aim. Every Russian IFVs are OP, can do things isn’t possible in reality. Like keep firing 30mm to same target after firing 100mm, because they mounted together and 100mm will back to reload angle automatically. 30mm should fly over the sky…..
Gaijin miss all the reload animations, not only autoloader tanks but also Leopard or Abram, after fire a shell, their barrel have to relocate back to reloading position.
But k9 thunder can do it in reality

@@blitz_ch2304 ahh yes it is, you have to select to 100mm gun, this sight is hard to use for normal gun, only for low velocity shells
