Still no speedo issues) Honda Unicorn 160cc and currently Xblade for 3 + years now no speedo issues in one of them.. I have rideen all of them except bullet in worst rains... Flooded roads of Mumbai... Never ever had speedo issues except when speedometwr cable got damaged.... So I don't care what ever the temperature or anything else there must not be error... So let us not give any excuse to RE.. Let them get most things right for once atleast.

Easy Fix - just try this easy fix. The issue is either due to excess dielectric grease or improper contact in the speedometer terminal. The speedometer terminal just needs proper cleaning by a good quality terminal contact cleaner spray or iso propyl alcohol. Spray it liberally and clean the contact points properly. Dry and reattach the speedo terminal and problem will not repeat forever. No need getting the speedo replaced again and again when it is just the wiring contacts that need cleaning. See the video tutorial by Ride by Warro who first identified and sorted this issue. Best of luck...
I had the same problem at first but then the sticker on the speedo unstuck itself so it block the needle from moving. In my case it is not at all an electrical issue but more of a mechanical issue.

I mean even Bajaj gives better quality speedometers man!!! Cmonn RE tell your idiot Vendor's to pull up their socks and get this sorted once and for all.I am thinking of getting this over Highness 350

I recently bought a classic 350 and i am really disappointed with the delivery experience and the cost cutting scam started by royal enfield... to my surprise i was provided a helmet without the protective sheild which is a mandate as per motor vehicle act.. the company said that you have to spend rs. 265 extra to get that protective glass on your helmet.. secondly i observed that lady hand lever on top of the shocker is missing on one of the side of my motorcycle to which the company said that they have discontinued giving that on both sides... royal enfield clearly knows that people buy this bike as an emotional decision and royal enfield is taking that for granted...
Well companies shouldn’t take people for granted but competition is only increasing and with time things will only change. It was much worse in 2011 when I bought my 1st Electra ES model and things have changed drastically then. Re gives helmet with protective glass, so it’s the specific RE outlet who is doing this thing, so I suggest to write a mail to company directly support@royalenfield. com
@@MaheshKarkera i have already had conversation with company's executive and they confirmed that protective sheild is now to be paid by customers.. i will definately raise the issue with the Ministry of Road and Transport...

Well it’s my 4th speedometer which will have to be changed. I have understood the issue with them but we need a permanent solution for this.

Had same problem. After 2nd service they fixed it. Atleast they said they fixed it.

Hopefully It’s fixed for you. For me they already fixed thrice and now it’s the fourth time this issue is repeated.
