This actually felt too short. You can tell both have immense respect and love for each other. So much quality conversation comes out when you pair two unlikely forces. Of course, it would have equally as amazing with similarly accomplished professionals, but this was so beautifully teamed up. I hadn't been aware of how much work Bowen has done behind the scenes. It was endearing to see how much admiration Jean had for Bowen even with all she has done in her career. Talent recognizes talent.

It makes me forget for 23 minutes and reminds me of when I first met my husband and we’d stay home on Monday nights just to watch Jean.
It’s cool that someone from the current cast of SNL is interviewing her when Hannah Einbinder’s mom was part if the original SNL cast. I’d like to see Bowen and Larraine Newman in conversation as well.

I adore Jean Smart, and I am thrilled for all of her successes. As a southern gal who grew up to be an interior designer, it goes without saying that I am a die hard Designing Women fan. It had a huge impact on my life. I joke that my stupid human trick is - I can relate any subject, scenario, person, etc to an episode of DW. I only wish all of the DW cast mates who have passed on were here to celebrate her too. This particular video makes long for Jan Hooks - Carlene Frazier Dobber. ❤️ In a coincidental aside, that will mean absolutely nothing to anyone but me 😊, I used that exact same uber feminine pink toile-inspired fabric (upholstered on the middle upper of her wing back chair) in my first apartment.

@@ernestonunez3839 he's the buzziest actor on SNL and has a good shot at getting a supporting actor in a comedy nom. He's also a comedian and Jean is playing a comedian in her show. They're not on the same level as actors, but the pairing makes more sense than you're giving it credit for.
