The headquarters of the Kenya Red Cross,C.I.D Training school of the Kenya police, Kenya National Bureau of Standards Head office (KEBS) and Toyota Training Academy are located in South C Nairobi..
South C also has very good schools, churches, Mosques, Sports clubs, modern hotels and apartments making it a good residential estates..

Memories!!! I schooled at Khalsa Primary South C (next door to the CID) and lived along a road you drove past just before Heshima Estate back in the early 80s. I was a lil small kid then and alot has really changed here. Many of these developments (including Heshima Estate) were just playing fields and empty land we played football on.

To think I lived south seas in the 60’s for 3 years as my father was in the army forces in the uk , travelled to Mombasa for wonderful holidays lots of lovely memories 😊

How did they handle the road that connects south B and south C over Mombasa road when the expressway was built? I saw how the foot bridges were handled but don't remember anything about the road.

Actually the original South C was a mix of private midmarket residential and government ministry staff residential, different ministries housed their staff in a form of gated community, hence you see CID training school/Mow/ Kwa maji.... I'v started following your vrogs. good work.

You took longer root ,from the round bout you would have just go straight and turn right and you will see your self in five star estat it is the shortest way since I was a worker constructing the Road from Wilson to south c short way from langata to Mombasa road or south b
