Yes absolutely worked for me. except this error when i tried to connect to sql plus "ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified"
Thank you so much for all the detailed explanations at one place. I have been trying to install but failed to do so, came across your video and voila ...easy done.
This is a great example of getting the basic setup. One thing I came across though is the listener for Oracle did not start automatically and I ended up spending some time troubleshooting tnsnames with its values and tnsping. The key point, make sure your listener is started so DB connections can be made from the client and remote machines. Not sure why it it not started by default or if it will auto start on reboot. something to look out for. Basically you will not see the port open with netstat either with listener service stopped. good luck.
I was also wandering around and didn't find any video in which full set up with gui is shown. Finally my search is over this the only that I wanted. Thanks for the video

Excellent guide!!! One thing to note for anyone, avoid using @ in your password. If you use @ in your password, you might get an error stating the host is unreachable. Best of luck.

Thank you for the step by step video, one thing I would like to highlight is 'setup.exe' file for oracle 19c would not open if it is placed in an address where there is space is used in the address. for example if you extract the oracle 19c file in the "program files" it would not open as there is space between word 'program' and 'files', alternatively one can extract it in the c drive and it will open. I am getting error in typical installation as [ins-35179] current available memory is less then the required available memory (2424mb) For creating the database. [Ins-35075] a database instance with the specified identifier already exist

hi, if your password contains @ then write your password in double quotes and you will be able to connect to the sql
u can type your password in double quotes

It runs well in my laptop.
