  • Hello All,
As we are in the month of January, School admissions take a front seat and these days, parents have way too many options when it comes to choosing the board and school for their wards.
Most of the parents are unaware about the difference that these boards offer and therefore find it difficult in choosing the right board/curriculum.
In an endeavor to create awareness about various boards available in India, we will run series of videos starting from today over the next few weeks on the following subjects:
    - What are the boards that are available in India?
    - Deep dive in to all the boards (IB/IGCSE/ICSE/CBSE)
    - How to choose the right board for your child?
    - Differentiating factors of every board
In this video, we shall see about International Baccalaureate(IB). Founded in 1968 by IBO Geneva, IB truly lives up to the International Curriculum by offering cutting edge program right from Primary to Senior Secondary (Diploma) group.
We are confident that these videos will provide insight about every curriculum and its uniqueness and will definitely help in choosing the right one for your loved ones.
If you still have any doubts on various aspects of school admissions, feel free to ping us @ 9345790289.

"School follows CBSE curriculum. Curriculum is aligned with IB methodology in the Pre-primary and primary".
This is taken from brochure of one of the CBSE international schools. What does IB methodology mean here ?

    • @Rightcareers
      @Rightcareers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Methodology or Pedagogy is the way in which the subjects are taught. The school might not follow IB syllabus but their teaching way is based on IB is their claim. Hope this answers your query

There is no correlation between studying in a board and preparing for JEE. Students studying in any board can join IIT if they clear JEE. However the syllabus for JEE exams are taken from CBSE board. Still you need not worry.

Had one question. If the child is admitted to IGCSE and after grade 10, if the child wants to join the mainstream state boards/ education system, will the child face any difficulties. I ask this question because the state boards follow the memorising and rote learning methods predominantly whereas IGCSE has practical/ experiential method of education

    Hello Sir,
IB method of teaching is very interesting and I felt it to be great in overall development of child when they are small (atleast till class 5) therefore I want to put my daughter in IB for PYP
    but
Grade 6th onwards we want our daughter to get the sincereness and discipline of CBSE, so she can take competitive exams in better way.
Sir, is this possible and how difficult would be transition from IB to CBSE?

Ok, I understand students are partners with teachers in the learning process, but what is the outcome, I see studying helps students gain their understanding of future growth, I don't understand what teachers gain by teaching the concepts to students. Where is the mutual gain in this partnership?
