We need to take IB to the masses somehow, as you mentioned the cost is very prohibitive for I'd say 90% of Indian students

Hii can you please make an video on the difference between IB DP and CP. And how many grades we need for both the things (DP and CP). By watching your videos I have a better understanding of DP but would you also please make an video on CP. Like what all things we do in CP and the subjects do we have presentations. And all that.

If a school doesn't have MYP curriculum of IB but only ibdp, is it possible to choose ibdp without Ib(myp).

IB does not force you to choose one specific path, you choose your own subjects, check 1:02 again

I moved from a strict asf cbse school called Narayana and it traumatized me so much that my mom had to move me to an international school for grade 11, and I finally feel excited to go to school ,ib schools are fun and interesting but also pressurizing bcz u cant cram study and mug up stuff
I am also thinking of moving my son from Narayana... are you recommending that I should go for it? Actually I am a bit confuse.. if possible please help

Hi Kunal, someone is suggesting that if you want to prepare for JEE / IIT exams, don't go with IB.. should go with CBSE and prepare from 5Th STD with resonance institute.. please suggest on it
Ended up with a 42/45 in IB yet engineering colleges in India don’t know much about what 6s and 7s are. Also, since the IB curriculum is way different than what is asked in JEE, I had a tough time managing both and in the end gave more priority to IB(wrong choice tbh). Not worth it if you want to do engineering in India.
Fyi: i had math aa HL, physics HL and chem HL as my higher level subjects

Hi, I’m a mother of a 5 year old usa citizen she is in JKG in ib board. But I’m planning to shift her to ICSE and then will move to usa after 5 years.
Im confused should I change her board to icse or should continue with ib as further she will go to usa in next 3-5 years.
But in Ahmedabad the culture of ib board is very disturbing so planning to change to icse well known school.
It is very confusing that after 3rd or 4th std will she able to adjust in ib in usa

You could get college credits by AP with ISC board at much lower cost.For US, standardised tests like SAT and ACT are key.

If you are in an IB School, the textbooks will be included in the fee. Otherwise you can find pdfs of them online. I would not recommend buying them from a store since they are very expensive

There are counselors who can help with not just this but also with college admissions, do seek help from them

This is not a good idea, since the MYP (IB for 10th graders) is not something you can adjust to very quickly. I suggest switching in 11th, the Diploma programme is relatively easy to adjust to.

usually the school will provide you with material and its not mandatory to have books, but if you do want to buy any its absurdly expensive, like 4k to 6k ruppees per book

Yes, you have to take a secondary language as part of the curriculum

Hello Kunal , my son is studying abroad in IB board in year 8 . I am planning to shift him to I India (Noida )next year . I am more concerned about the IB teaching level in India, the faculty and also are IB tutors easily available.
I'm not going to lie, the level of teaching here will not be as good as somewhere abroad, but it is still worth having that diploma if you're planning to study abroad. IB Tutors are very easily available.

I would recommend it. I just got my diploma. I did my first year in America and second year in Indus international school pune.

IGCSE to IB is a very smooth transition. I would not use the word "easy"

I wouldn't know much about CBSE but just generally, the challenges that Indian Board students face switching to IB mostly pertain to its critical thinking based approach and the difficulty of subjects like humanities and English

@@adityamohanagarwal Don't let assignments pile up, work towards something everyday. Something is better than nothing, and so in the end you won't be drowning in assignments and can focus on your exams

Familiarize yourself with the curriculum, it's very unique. Offer classes or trial classes to children of acquaintances and see how it goes from there

Talk to your teacher about it. I honestly learnt this the hard way at university. If you just talk it out with them they can really help you

You can take Korean if the IB school offers it. I don’t know which schools offer Korean in particular but you can check the websites of schools in your locality

most of the things will be different from what you have learned in the CBSE board and in the video he kept mentioning that IB has deeper research in every topic or subject so chose your SL and HL subjects to carefully

Does taking a new secondary foreign language let's say Spanish at SL mean that you start learning from the beginning in that subject.What I want to know is that taking a foreign lang as a secondary language will it be hard to learn ?
If you take Spanish AB initio, you start learning from scratch. The difficulty really depends on you, if you are disciplined enough to give it an hour every day, it will be your easiest subject
