University of Iowa's SANTOS and modeling and simulation research

The University of Iowa Technology Institute is among the world leaders in human modeling and simulation research. Iowa is best know for its physics-based virtual human models, Santos and Sophia, which allow testing of new products and processes more quickly, cost effectively, and with less human resources than traditional testing methods. The scope of research extends to biotech, avionics, and other disciplines.
