This match shows the experience is indeed important at big moment. The price an upcoming youngster has to pay to get to the top. Ma Long went through it. So will Lin if he reaches to the top one day.

Great match despite the camera angle.
I have to say this was weird as it was way too high but when lower, I actually like that angle.
Luckily the camera angle doesn't affect the players.
@@janhenke9256 You see I really don't understand how it was ever a thing...I mean, you don't have a real perspective of the ball trajectory or curve of the shot. How can this angle ever have been popular..? Or is it just nostalgia..? Genuinely surprised here.
Despite? Thanks to the camera angle. This new camera view solves the century old problem of the player’s body blocking part of the action. It allows every action to be captured. Placed in the middle, it also, for the first time ever, treats both players EQUALLY, and most importantly, this new view gives us a very clear idea of how close/far away players are from the table during different rallies. In the past, I never really comprehended what playing far away from the table actually means, because the old view gave a very distorted sense of distance. Now, the problem of distance perception is gone, too.
This is simply one of the greatest things that ever happened

Dang Qiu is more powerful than Lin. Lin has all the shots, he just needs more power to put the opponent into difficulty during the rally.

This is the greatest camera angle. The old angle always had the player’s body block the action, and did not give us a correct perception of distance. You never really knew how close or far away players were from the table.
The angle solves those issues, and treats both players equally.
Those complaining about this are like poor mountain farmers feeling uncomfortable about the convenience of modern life
@@peterwind8101 So you never critique anyone and just take everything as it is without wanting to improve it? My prefered angle is from an edge slightly elevated. I dont care much about how distant players are from the table. Whats important to me is seeing spin and their strokes. With this angle you can not see spin properly. No height perception. Serves are completely hidden behind the body or they make weird video cuts where you lose focus and can not see anything either. Players run out of the field of view. Also half the strokes are blocked by the body what you mentioned about "the old angle" what ever that is... Both players are never treated equally. Just think about left and right handed. I could write much more about it but i am getting tired of these internet discussions especially with people who right away call others "poor mountain farmers" wtf dude??

To me, this looks a little nervously played by both of them. For at least a very long time, services did not work at all - no matter who was serving. Qiu seemingly did not want to attack high balls, and so on...
Somehow he managed to win this, after the Chinese boy had been on fire.
