Tbh when I first watched him in the bundesliga I felt like he was teleporting with his footwork. Like there were two games before and all very, very good players all on professional level but you could immediately see he was on another level also when he won 11:0 twice against darko jorgic in the champions league final

For those who don’t remember, Dang was the first chinese rubber released by Tibhar, I put 2 of them on my blade when I started table tennis in the 80’s and that’s how I developed a strong and spinny backhand, so I guess Dang Qiu’s thought on playing a chinese rubber on the backhand is spot on, but you have to start early. Also at that time we could use speed glue if needed, and the Dang rubber was insane then, that clicky high end sound with even more tackiness and spin was terrifying 😅
Decent defeat for Deng 0:2 Dang Qiu. In the test match Dan played the second game quite well and was close to winning 1 set. And in training Den managed to play on par with Dang Qiu. How strong and fast Dang Qiu is can be clearly seen from the side camera.Greetings from Ukraine!
I clicked to see a video about someone training with dang qiu, but apparently it was just an advertisement for dignics 09c. I don't see any mention of it being a commercial collaboration or whatnot, is this even legal?
Usually when I see Dan play pros, I feel like he holds back a little. Not even on the service but mostly on the topspin rally’s I feel like he plays hesitant. Maybe just because the quality is so good with the pros. Idk. I just thought he played better here

try not to have your feet too far apart Dan. too far apart and you have less mobility. just a little adjustment not too much maybe a couple of inches. and do more footwork exercises. you're doing great and much better than when you first started this channel 👏 🎉

Ngl, Qiu Dang has one of the most aesthetically pleasing techniques among European players. His rpb and counter spin motions look almost poetic.

Dang is a very pleasant athlete to watch. Win or lose, he keeps it calm and full of positivity.
Only one problem. 09c is £80 a sheet.

Pro players are miles away from amateurs or half profesionals. Dan is a very good semi profesional player and still gets woopt with shake hand grip...
