  • Craft beer is available in Thailand, but it can be hard to find and the prices are super expensive. That's because strict laws are preventing craft beer brewers from properly competing in the market.
We spoke to Pawitr Verakultawan, Owner & Brewer at @Sadhu Brewing, and Dana Edward Caron, Managing Director & Chef at @Roadhouse BBQ Smokehouse & Grill, to learn more.
Do you think Thailand should change its laws and allow craft beer brewers to operate more freely? Let us know what you think in the comments ↓ ↓ ↓

Parliament is debating on that, so we’ll have to wait and see

The big brewers who dominate Thailand's beer industry have paid the government to retain their dominance. It shows how these capitalists pay lip service to the concept of free trade when they're really wanting no competition. Thais are every bit as capable of producing great beer as anyone else and it's a crying shame that it's being denied to them. Political change is afoot in Thailand though and change is imminent. Thailand's craft brewers must be allowed to realise their potential.
