Todd, Had a bait along time. Made a suggestion to his company to buy the pattern. Rapala had a down turned bill. So this is not any different than a Wiggle Wart. Sometimes they change the bill angle. The lure curves or size. The new lure only needs to be a little bit different to call it new.

So, what is the problem with changes. Have you tried it? Is it better? Worse? I just don’t understand hate for new baits. Nothing new or slightly different can ever come out? We would all be still driving the Model T Ford. So much hate. Why? What do you gain?

"clearing slime" is a BOLD statement. But, I've never thrown a "bad" KVD bait. Looking forward to trying one of these. I'm scratching my head as to what color I would use in Florida. These all seem to be geared towards the smallmouth, or northern lakes. I left the same comment on his "short", but if anyone has any advice on what colors would work well in south-central, Florida waters, I'd love to hear it. I don't see anything that matches what I'm currently throwing.

I've been having a lot of trouble with this gravel dawg crank bait getting is started. You can't burn it like a square bill or it will shoot straight up to the surface or just turn to the side and not have any action. You have to slowly reel it in and sometimes it will dive and sometimes it won't. AM I doing something wrong? Yall tell me cause I have caught fish with it but only when I get it running right. Throwing it on a 7' medium heavy cranking setup. The colors this crank has are unmatched in my opinion. They look awesome. That's one good thing I can say about it.

I'm like many others I don't want my crank to run deeper than I'm fishing lol I want it to be just above the bottom catching tops of rocks, sticks and grass bouncing off that stuff. I don't want to grind into all of it destroying my lure and hanging up often. Any treble bait is going to hang up period lol I want to lesson those times. They say the atv crank won't hang up and that's bull crap😂

Shoot, I’m with Team Kev, if I’m cranking, I’m grinding. A round lead ball will hang up. I always have with me a lure retriever for when my hooks get snagged.

​@@jase_baits1702I fish way to much slim and junk to grind the bottom completely lol idc what lure you throw it will bring back to much crap and you won't get bites. The bill itself will bring that crap back and cause hang ups. If you're fishing sandy bottoms with just rocks yea u can see grinding one lol but I generally don't have that option here in the depth south.

I hate to say it but they don’t run good out of the package and hard to tune. I know they run erratically but they blow out and run to the top. I’ve only thrown one but that what mine did.
