Am really learning from your videos, my instructor is always on his phone, he never talks to me,only says break, remove ur leg from the clutch. And inside the round about he makes ask me to change gear to the 2nd.. I just want to change him already..
I know it’s a pain but please change instructor. I had one who I wanted to leave within first lesson, was absolutely sure after second lesson. I still did 3rd and 4th because they were booked but he was late, car faulty, rude, mocked me and my driving outside of lessons, shouted for no reason and didn’t listen to me. Finally changed to another instructor and I feel so much happier with her, more confident. Wish I’d have switched sooner. She is professional, on time, we have a laugh and only had 2 lessons. She corrects in a nice way, gives compliments. Also has handouts for things. You won’t regret it! ❤
@@greyngreyer5 if you keep holding the clutch the clutch can burn because like anything else it has a lifespan so you’ll use it a lot more quickly if you keep holding it during traffic also if you’re in gear and stopped if something bad happens and you get rear ended the transmission will shatter
@@nechirvanhevar435 Ugh so what fo you mean put it in neutral? Can you describe the process? Let's say I'm driving in 3rd gear. Can you do a detailed step by step on stopping at a junction?
@@greyngreyer5 yeah clutch in go into neutral then brake? When in neutral you’re just riding off the cars speed before you put it into neutral so you’ll have enough time to get to the stop section
My instructors car has some really strong brakes that seem to have very little travel between partially braking and heavy braking. It's kind of difficult to get used to. I especially noticed how difficult they were when I drove my own car where the brake pedal has more travel and can easily and smoothly stop more consistently...
I’ve had my license a month and I’m still trying to learn to get that perfect limo stop. I get it probably 30% of the time but most of the time I still get a little nudge
Pin at the beginning had me laughing so hard for some reason with that face. Also reminded me of how he reacts when his students shift back into first too early. Too funny man.
I wouldn't say driving is common sense. There are aspects of driving which is common sense but driving itself is not. It's a learnt skill. That being said, I do wish some more experienced drivers can brake smoothly.
I really couldve used you as a driving instructor, my instructor now gives me a good 20 min lecture, then i drive using the things hes taught me only for him to turn around and be like when did i say that. Im just being gaslit the whole lesson😭
Get a different instructor. My 2nd instructor was strict, but I only ended up with a different one because I took a couple of months off of lessons to get my theory test done. Neither of them gaslit me or anything.
not that bad, i don’t start braking a mile ahead either though, i’d rather have the speed for a longer amount of time than having a smooth stop though😂
Happened to me, the tube that’s takes the break fluid around was snapped and so I had no break fluid and whilst on strip quite far away from my home is when I realised the breaks weren’t working so I had to drive about 25 miles with next to no breaks, luckily I was on a dual carriageway so I could keep it and a steady speed with little to no breaking required and very few stopping points and managed to get home then took it to the garage I got it from cos I still had warranty and they had it fixed for me but damn was it scary
Ngl I put my whole foot over the brake and this doesn’t happen to me, I don’t understand why you guys obsess over only putting ur toes over the pedal it’s way less comfortable
Bro if it works for you good for you, no one said don't do that.. it's more about how hard you brake I guess and if you come off it super quickly then it will shake like crazy

Congratulations, does the course works on the phone??
I do brake late. Because I have Jeremy Clarkson in my head: " Speed and Power solves many things"
😂😂😂
Also speed never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary, that’s what gets you
I read that in his voice lol. I also like driving fast and have a lead foot.
@@rezaomar3397what? 😂😂

The chauffeur stop. 👌🏽
Braking late gives you extra kick😂😂
Nice break and all but you got a really nice and clean sneakers. I like that
I already do this. Let the brake go slightly and then just press it very lightly and my stops are always amazingly smooth
The drink part was good
Made me giggle too
Most realistic short I have ever seen
Thank you bro genuinely looked ages for a simple solution 🎉
Thanks for the tips! I have been following this method and guess what...it works !!! I don't do harshly, but these tips do come handy.
I brake so abruptly😬 will definitely be trying this during my next driving lesson😄
Same here 😂
Thank you very much. 👍
I was taught before covid hit that rolling your big toe when you begin breaking begins a very smooth ease of the breaks. I still use it.

It’s just so hard to reach brake pedal sometimes for a short person like me.
Like the last bit. Your passengers would like you for not spilling their drinks everywhere. True. I hate when others drive and do some harsh braking.
If I bring the car to a stop with no clutch it’s stalling tho 😂
Just put it in neutral when you feel like stopping
@@nechirvanhevar435 My instructor never mentioned that. He insists on the clutch. Any reason why? I mean we did just start so idk

Give me advise I fail my first time test 😢
I always use my toes to press the gas, clutch and brake bc im short haha
Best ever
Easy downshift and brake that'll be the smoothest brake you'll ever feel
i've a question. what is the correct way to stop? psress the clutch than the brake or press the brake than the clutch?
@@Shevin597brake then clutch before you've come to a stop while staying on the brake
Thanks
Where can I buy those driving shoes
Engine braking helps too- but you need to be skilled at controlling your speed to do it right.
my friend literally brakes like this like GIRL!😭
accidentally did this today and it was she smoothest stop i’ve ever made 😂
How do I stop clutch slipping??
My mom doesn't put her feet on ground but still brakes smoothly
She probably knows her car very well
people learn to drive so many different ways
Sometime but this method is great can U do biyclcye
My father taught me that. Used it when driving Uber to help for smoother right.
sorry i like waking up drivers behind me who haven't had their morning coffee
Hi I'm looking for some help pass driving test because 2 time trying test but only 1 mistakes fail I need help my theory time finish December

Are you driving without a seatbelt?
Does this work for regen braking as well?
That call body is break ..😂😂😂
5ft and size 3 feet. I'll be lucky to get my toes touching the pedals 😂
In a nutshell: *_drive smooth._*

Seeing as this is a driving instructor channel, this comment is highly unnecessary, and frankly just stupid
Easier said than done ahen people randomly stop when no one is front of fhem . Or they are gping 30 in a 55. And it causes you to do this .
