    Bone, was beginning to really fail health wise. When this was filmed. Pee-Wee -Crayton and I had many many tearful discussions. Worried about Bone. Because we loved that old man. Bone lived 100 lives, in comparison. To the 1 life the average person lives. Bone was my friend, my mentor, my teacher. My everything. Long live his memory. And his musicality....!!!

      You're a lucky man. I've always wondered what T-Bone was like in person. Effortlessly sophisticated and talented onstage of course, but I often wondered if he was somewhat introverted as well?

    What a rare treat. I hope those people knew how lucky they were to see Chuck Berry AND the great T Bone Walker together on the same stage! If those two were suddenly erased from musical history most modern rock and pop music would disappear along with them.

    Damn bro, Chuck passed off an out of tune ass guitar to TBone, such a magical moment but such a rough situation for Bones to be put it. Also I don’t think he’s used to holding a guitar that way, he usually plays the guitar horizontal/parallel to the ground, not the normal way
    Goes to show how much of a supreme showman TBone is to keep the wheels on the track in that situation

    Is it asking too much to provide the source material for all these clips?
    The most noteworthy thing about this one is that it shows Berry was capable of playing like Walker.
    And the other thing that no one mentions is the very good rhythm guitar in the background.
    I’d like to know who that third guitarist was.
    Again, this is basic information that should be provided with all these TV show clips.

    • @RawBluesTV
      @RawBluesTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When we originally uploaded it, all the information was there but the people who take care of Berry's copyrights had the video removed. So when we re-uploaded it we didn't put any info so they couldn't track it down and delete it again. All the videos on our channel have all the information we could get. Answering your question, the other guitarist is Louis Myers, who together with his brother Dave on bass and Fred Below on drums formed The Aces, the best Chicago Blues group, in my opinion. Lafayette Leake played piano. Montreux 1972

    • @charleswinokoor6023
      @charleswinokoor6023 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RawBluesTV Of course, Louis Meyers. He and the Aces backed up Robert Junior Lockwood. He plays on that great live album from the ‘70s recorded in Japan.
