@@flyairline2sim yeah thats how I roll too, one thing you have to do in the 300 is arm the localizer (V/L button) and capture the loc before pushing the land button because the aircraft is happy to capture the glideslope and off down you go without the localizer captured, I think all modern aircraft won't do it, plus I would be interested to see if they have modelled in the sim an autopilot diconnect if you push land mode above 5000 feet, saying that I think it only happens in the 605's the 622 with the P@W engines let you push the land button above 5000.I'm rambling so I'll stop now. Cheers
Euin Howie ramble more, it’s good stuff. The V/L button is interesting. Most sim aircraft will happily descend on the GS without LOC being captured, I guess it depends on the type. I have to confess to doing the lazy sim-ism of just hitting APPR or LAND as it’s easy to forget to hit APPR as the the GS hoves into view and by the time you wonder why it’s not going down you have to throw it away. I’ll try the AP thing also and let you know. Never armed it that high yet.
@@flyairline2sim a couple of other things we get taught is think about slats extend through 25 from the rwy and you need flap 20 down the glide slipe (gear up) to stay on the glide slope, you can sometimes get away with flap 15 but it might accelerate away from you. I'm really impressed with your videos and how realistic the sim is, it is truely one of the last jets you really have to hand fly, keep it up
If purchasing this aircraft, your video's are an absolute must. You're a bit to modest at times, me think. Compared to the a320, the workload is much heavier but hey, that's a positive for me. So thank you, Ben. I always enjoy watching your video's and digging your great sense of humour.
I watched this part 1 - 3 from scratch, all I can say is thank you very much😂 I was testing this for inisimulations and I had no idea how to work the systems or fly this thing. I did my first flight last night after watching all of your videos and I was successfully able to complete a full flight from EGNX-EIDW, never realised how much this thing is like a Boeing. Thank you for the informative videos!!
Big Ben returns! Good to have u back buddy. But i must say, I’m surprised you are spending your time in xPlane, and not in MSFS2020. Don’t get me wrong, the inibuilds Airbus is awesome, but MSFS2020 is the new shiny object.....I’m curious to hear if your opinions changed since last years video!
There is a matter in the instruments,How is possible to find the ILS and VOR control panel active together? In real world you can active on of these panels by toggle switch from EFIS panel.hope to correct it soon.
What are Flap and Pitch for GoAround? Could you show this in a video? Oh, sorry, found your video, Flap 3 setting and 17.5 pitch was in your other video.
highspeed cruise I tend to agree but that’s not what I was told by the skipper who helped me research this. I guess ask 10 people a question in aviation and you’ll get 10 different answers 😅😅
Amazing video. Will 100% get this aircraft. Hope its not too hard to learn and just a quick question what kind of visuals and addons are you using and sky textures, clouds etc.
Frederik Myhre clouds are cloud art freeware, Sky textures are from X vision, ground is orbx TE U.K., I use x-visibility to reduce the viz at altitude, active sky XP and the textures for Ireland are orthoxp 👍🏻

You're the best Ben! You are a natural teacher. Thank you so much for these A300 tutorials. They are a huge help.
Great job for sombody who doesn't fly the aircraft, you got it mostly right.
Euin Howie I’ll take mostly

Airbus with yoke?! Wait... THAT'S ILEGAL!
nice vid :)
EduardoMCfly yoke 😉😎
@@flyairline2sim oh yeah lol i put joke hahahaha thanks man
Very well done.
Definitely the best XP11 addon ever.
Awesome! The moment I regret I bought MSFS. This aircraft is one I always dreamed about.
The betterpush back sounds so good how can i change the voices like yours? Thanks :)
Great video Ben. I learned a lot. One question pls: Which real live traffic software do you use? Thx
Did the same flight today, but at least you managed to land! More than I did LOL :)
I almost managed to crash too :)

you definitely need to stabilise the thrust on the a300. from states 1.05 and 1.10 EPR with 0.02 difference between the engines
Well I thought the same but my A300 training skipper was pretty adamant that they didn’t bother 🤷♂️, I imagine it’s a good idea to.
Airbus with yoke, airbus with yoke, airbus with yoke, airbus with yoke

When starting the engine do you have manually switch off the first starter or does this happen automatically. Not clear from video.
Kevin I think the starter automatically cuts out

Hi, you definitely want to stabilize these powerful engines, at least in IRL. :) 40% N1 or 1.0 5EPR, then hit toga.

@Airline2sim does the iniBuilds A300 use the "experimental" or the normal flight model?? Thank you
