Never be embarrassed/ashamed to be excited over using new equipment! It’s a huge deal to have something new to use and to have something that works (with tweaking) where you had problems with the older thing. The tanker looks good! As usual the interactions between you and your Dad are fun.
Don't ever apologize for geeking out about things you enjoy. The world needs more of that type of excitement.

Thats the warranty up the shute, not had it five minutes and altering things already. Good to see the Huli can handle the tank quite easy.
If you need to get it serviced you just undo all your modifications haha
They seemed to get along with PX so well, i think they'd let that one slip...
Love the genuine excitement over the new tanker and any new kit for that matter.. As you said, your not used to Brand New equipment, but when you've worked for it, saved for it, and got to the point where you can purchase it, what's not to be excited about?!! You'll appreciate it so much more and knowing that fact that you've worked hard for it, that should make you even more proud! If that means you want to have a 'Wee Girly Giggle' over it, you have a 'Wee Girly Giggle' over it Tom!! Your smashing it mate, Keep er Lit! ;)

You should try to use the pto around corners as little as you can. Its handy with the right angle shaft but you can wear out the joints faster if its on when turning

When I saw the blue I thought you had a New Holland. They make those tractors by where I live and there's a parking bay just full of them. Tractors, tractors, tractors. All very shiny and new, and any colour you want as long as it's blue. :D

Just a little tip to not put as much pressure on the tank is when u see the slurry at the top of the sight glass just knock it off then u would be tanking all week to make up for the little bit ur missing out on and putting no pressure on the tank
I totally understand getting excited over a new tanker its the same as getting a new tractor or a new truck. good job guys
Take the rubber cone off . It should still spread the water, not as wide but you can fly up the field, saving time and diesel. Someone's going to catch that side fill in a gate post, it sticks out a bit on the narrow tractor

Little bit of farming experience back in late 60s early 70s. I think the Hurliman can handle it if driven sensibly you don't appear to have a lot of hilly land etc. Would interesting to see the Massey handling it . I am thinking that come April/May a new/ newish tractor is likely to be added to the fleet which would make a lot of sense. Loving the content guys.

Afternoon Tom! Love the new tanker!!! Like that you are able to see the amount of slurry that you have in the tanker from the seat by looking at the tube on the front of the tanker. How super is that to have!! Brilliant!! I was wondering why you were running down the road with the back window open; it's still in the 60 F. We will get the first breath of high 60s this week in Florida. So good to see your video. Excellent as always.
Tom isn't from Florida lol, tractor cabs get very warm as all the heat from the backend rises and you are sat right ontop of it, no air conditioning in his tractor either
@@jerryodriscoll3691 I remember that Tom was always talking about the air conditioning in the big red Case. For us, 60 degree F is cold, not cool. Long sleeves. sweaters, jackets and vests come out. 50 degrees F is coat weather. I am learning so much from his videos. PS-I had a blue Ford, F150 for years. Pulled a horse trailer with it.
@@georgiaannbicknell6129 I dunno what 60 Fahrenheit is in degrees, I find 10⁰ Celsius a comfortable temperature in a tshirt, anything over 10⁰ is too warm in my opinion without air con 😂 Cant beat the fords at all 😉

nothing wrong with getting excited about new kit, now you have all these new pipes and filling points, you need to weld up a little stand to put the pipe end onto when its disconnected, saved bending up and down to fix it on ,save you’re and more importantly , the gingers backs ,and wont be long before you get into the habit of just dropping it and will bend the end. lol
Having only being part of your channel for a short time, not as long as some other veteran viewers. Ive grown accustomed to the snap of the fingers in the intro. And get upset sometimes when you don’t snap your fingers 😂😂 As always Tom great video

The handbrake warning even though the handbrake isn't engaged may be because of low brake fluid, atleast it was in our Deutz.

From Canada. I would be disappointed if you were not excited by new kit... New as in new to you, or never been used before new! I still think my husband married me for my wood working shop, and he thinks I married him for his 'fix my car' skills. The tanker is working so well, you will have to give it a name
Please make sure you keep it clean.... give it a wash at the end of its use each day!! will make it last longer.
No point in doing it at the end of every day, once you are finished with it would be enough

1000 to 1400 engine revs maximum is about right for a vacuum tanker. No need for more while filling either. That's in 540 standard mode not eco. No harm in letting the overpressure valve blow slightly while emptying.
No doubt you know that the pump oilers should drip every four or five seconds or so, 4 when new and 5 to 6 seconds when well run in and polished inside. That's assuming your pump has two oilers, one for each end.

I think the surprises that Tom won the Lotto and then he bought the Case they demoed and that's why they were able to buy the new tank and silo
