When I think about having a large family in the future, this is what I envision, beautiful ordinary days. Even if it means everyone in the bathroom together while it gets cleaned😜 thank you for being such a light in godly motherhood!
I want this life for myself so badly but I can't afford more children 😔💔 I have 1 son, my partner works full-time and we live with my parents. I hope I get there one day but fear I'm running out of time, I'm already 28! 💔
Delilah, I never comment but just wanted to say I truly love your heart and the peek into your beautiful life you grant us to gain inspiration for our own lives. I’ve been tuning in since you just had Eloise, and I have my first daughter Hadassah. I now also have 4 children (all girls lol) that were born right around the same time as yours so it’s been neat to see you document your experience as I would go through mine. We also just named our 4th daughter (15 months now, born 8/26), D’vorah Eloise. We name each of our girls with a middle name from a grandma and the last grandma we needed to use is named Lois. When I realized Eloise had Lois in it I immediately knew it was the name for her and after years of hearing you talk about your lovely daughter i knew it was perfect. I pray much shalom and simcha (joy) for you and your family ❤
I loved this vlog! The scenes with Annie hugging you made me quite emtional. I will be a mom to a little girl next year in April too and I am so excited. Thank you for sharing these parts
It was lovely to see the children again Delilah! I understand why you don’t show them, it’s just nice to see their faces every once in awhile. We were pregnant at the same time (you with Eloise) I think I found you at your second ever video. Telling Zach the news I think? Anyway I lost my twins so it’s nice to see Eloise since my kids would be the same age. Anyway, thank you for the videos ❤
Delilah you are the epitome of Proverbs 31:28-31!! Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Thank you for being such a Godly example on youtube.
If you watch this and you feel bad about yourself - don't ❤ if you dont have it in you to make bread at 5am - just grab something to eat, get that breakfast, start your day. It is already a lot ❤ wether you have 4 kids or more or less or none at all - your 100% is different than 100% of other people and to give your 100% every day IS IMPOSSIBLE. Some days it is 90, 80 and some days it is 10. All that matters is that you do something, even little things everyday. You got this 🎉
You have the mill so you can grind popcorn (white or yellow) to make cornmeal and ground a bit coarser to make grits. I won't buy it from the store anymore because to me fresh ground is a whole new level.
To have been 28 and have my crap together like this. I was just a mom of 1 at that time, divorced and currently with my for real high school sweetheart, love of my life. We were trying for a baby at 28 and here we are, together for 20 yrs, married for 15 and 3 more kid's together. I know YAH works through every one of us differently, I am so thankful for every single thing that went right and wrong in my life, and extremely grateful for my family and all that's around me. I can't ever look back. I do wish that i had my life as put together as you have in my 20s. I feel like that if I had this current mindset, I wouldn't have spaced my kid's out so much and we would have had more. Currently I'm 45 and our youngest is 2, or oldest is 21. The older I got the more patient I got and I started really loving being a mommy and a homemaker. I think now that if I was 10 yrs younger we definitely would be having more babies. I love love love being a mom. Again, i have to remember that I wouldn't be where i am now, living this beautiful life on beautiful land with my husband and kid's if I didn't go through all of my tribulations. YAHUAH knew exactly what He needed to do with me. ❤ You have a beautiful family and it makes me so happy seeing all of these younger mom's doing all the hard working, homemaker stuff to feed and care for their family. All the while, keeping the true Living God #1 in the household. Blessings to you.
Hey, I can't tell You how much I love Your channel. A true refreshment for the soul. I remember You saying in a video that Your mother and grandmother are Your goal. Well... You are my goal. I want to be as wise and calm as You! ❤
If you could share, how do your kids sleep? We have two very poor sleepers. And I feel I can’t get anything done with this prolonged period of sleep deprivation. What time do you go to sleep? Do the older kids wake you up? I need tips on children’s sleep
We’ve got one really poor sleeper. Enough vitamin D, and protein have helped us a bit. And then remember that as parents part of our job is to care for the whole family, and we are included in that 🙂 I had to draw a boundary with my toddler and say that now is the time for mom to sleep so that I can safely care for you the next day. I was so sleep deprived at one point that I could not drive, my hair was falling out, I was forgetting about the oven being on, it was dangerous. I let my little one cry it out, I slept, and we started to do better the next day. Now he doesn’t cry at night, he is SO MUCH HAPPIER! And we both get more sleep.
We have a terrible sleeper. We didn't sleep until we started doing what his body asked for, which meant getting up around 5am and going to sleep around 630. We had So much push back on the super early bedtime but working with his body worked better than working against it. We also use melatonin and he has a very specific bedtime routine that we do not change or push back or alter in any way. It seems excessive to other people but we decided sleep and peace were our top priorities for our family and its fine if that looks weird or seems excessive to other people. He gets dinner at 530 - 545 and then a lavender bubble bath, a lavender bedtime spray in his pajamas, bed time book, snd bedtime snuggles around 640 and we sneak out after he's asleep. He's 5 now. A lot of people think he's thinking old for all that, but 5 is still so young in the grand scheme of things. We'll adjust as we need to. Right now this has worked for 2 years and we finally get sleep.
@@СедельниковаНастя oh I feel you, hope it gets better for you ❤ I have a very energetic 5yo and a 9mo that sleeps terribly... To say I am exhausted is an understatement. To add to the struggle our baby loves his dad during the day but at nights it is only mama... if my husband tries to calm him down at night it just ends up with more and louder crying 🥲 and he is teething right now.... Our first was a great sleeper, so I guess we are now getting our share...

It warmed my heart that your son built a bow and arrow by himself and felt that sense of accomplishment :)

I just feel like when there no sleep, nothing helps . Coffe, self-discipline, routine, it’s all futile when a person can’t sleep enough
I can relate it’s hard❤ I pray it gets easier for you ❤

What wheat berries do you use?
Would love to know your fridge and window cleaner spray! Is it something you mix yourself?
It's probably branch basics, they're one of her regular sponsors
Can I ask what is the color of your cabinets in your kitchen?
