Trading options isn't necessarily a shortcut, it can be a consistent longterm gain if done correctly. People buying deep OTM calls and gambling are ngmi, people writing spreads with defined risk on weekly/monthly contracts using appropriate spreads (credit spreads, condors, calendars etc) and selling to the gamblers are the ones that will succeed.
Love this Rudy. Please keep these coming. Love how you remained curious and then confused as it didn’t add up. Curiosity and instinct are powerful things.
Only thing I took from this video is that Rudy is a trust fund baby who's parents left him their fortune of a minty SNES big box earthbound and 3 Lego castle sets.
Poor Rudy, Everyone got invited to the Super Bowl except him and he had to stay behind to roll up silverware for $30 Bucks 😂😂😂 That's Hilarious. McCloud said "Everyone except that one weird guy"
And because it was soo low paid he Didnt have aford to Buy T2 duals 2006 like the cool kids and have to buy alpha mox and alpha duals. Poor rude that Didnt have money to buy beta mox and beta duals.
Yeah, too bad he has such a fascination with under age anime girls. Id assume he's always had these tendency though and I feel really bad for his significant other. It can be hard living with a predator.
Interesting. Your early life story is similar to mine; I was a greese monkey for 6-7 years and decided to do something I loved instead (hated coming home covered in oil every day), so went to uni and got a degree in game development/programming and started a development company in 2008. Ran for 9 years, but shut it down in 2017, then got a programming PhD and worked in uni (didn't like it though) and now write video games freelance and love it. I am not rich, but I am happy.

"The number one thing is I believe I have the ability to out-wait most of you all" And that's how Rudy went from turning wrenches and waiting tables, to living in that very same waterfront mansion once owned by the late McLeod… He just out-waited him 😂
I haven't watched the entire video so I don't know if you're joking or if Rudy mentioned him again but McLeod killed himself in 2010 just a few days after he found out he was about to be charged by the SEC.
Still the best type of content Rudy makes. Not sure if people has an idea just how much truth and wisdom this Florida man shares in videos like these. Truth bombs everywhere
Similar past here in working at a car dealership as a lube oil technician. I appreciate your hustle Rudy. Curiosity and determination can take you far. You inspire so many people in this cardboard community. Thank you for keeping it real and posting fun and relatable content, taco man!
The documentary, The Wolf Of Florida, really over sensationalized the whole saga IMHO. At least Jack Black played you very well, especially the weight and hair loss he did for the role. Also, we have Qdoba here in NC.
The last 15 minutes of this video especially is without a doubt the best life advice one can get. You sitting there and wondering if you should listen; you should. There isn't real advice there; but there is an understanding of how to approach your situation and make life better for yourself. It's the best Dad moment you can possibly have.
Rudy I can relate to your story, for me I spent 9 years washing dishes at a busy low-medium class Asian Restaurant at 15 to put myself through Uni (2 years Banking & Finance/ Bsc Applied Geology). My friends worked as waiters/waitress in those the fancy restaurants. After Uni I worked as a contractor for most of my professional career, I went through the numerous up and down of the mining cycle and the pain of the being unemployed many months, but finally after 45 in this life journey and a lot of hard work I landed the job/company where I'm happy to keep working till I retire/transition to retirement when I'm 60.
Why is it the smartest people in the world always forget the simplest axioms. "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. If someone sells you a diamond for $.10 the you've just bought a diamond not worth a dime.
And the funny part is that the diamond would probably be worth even less than 10¢ if it wasn't for the De Beers monopoly jacking up the price of what is a relatively commonplace gem stone in geological terms 😂
Loved this, one of your best ones in a long time. I really enjoyed your old episode where you showed one of your rental properties and talked about the rental business. You have so much experience with your rentals, i'd love it for you go over that every so often!
dude your stories about where you came from gives me fuel to work to get to where you are. God Bless you Rudy! Pray your busy time goes by quick without a hitch!
I guess the Super Bowl was the XLI edition on Feb 4, 2007 in Miami Gardens, Florida... more likely than the one in 2006 which was held in Detroit, Michigan. Well, from Jacksonville to Miami by limo seems more probable than up to Michigan in a limo!
I always appreciate the little easter eggs you leave in the background, like the Mother 2 box and the PDS Fire & Lightning. The latter especially holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first ever products I was gifted when I was first getting into Magic way back when.
Rudy if you haven’t already seen loving Vincent, it is on the streaming service Kanopy its animations inVincent van Gogh style of painting about his life. It’s Incredible
I really dig the long 'story' videos. I'd love to hear some stories about mechanic Rudy. Horror stories, fun cars you've owned, anything in that realm.
Its hard to tell when you are in a ponzi but always rotate profits and if you dont know where the yield comes from. Stay very far away. Made alot on Luna, lost half my unrealized in it tho when it collapsed. I was lucky to be early and sell often. Many friends were not Ive always taken crypto and roll it into stonks, gold silver, real things, sealed boxes, slabs. Chickens, tools etc stuff for my kids. I am not a crypto maxi if anything im a prepper and stacker at heart that loves collecting. Its freed me from wage slave nurica
The US is closer to fascism than capitalism. Capitalism isn’t at fault for high card prices. It’s the government. The government grants intellectual property grants to companies that let companies sue people for using their idea. If we didn’t have a government that stopped people that are not wizards printing magic cards at a cheaper price, we wouldn’t have scalpers and high car prices. You are just woefully misinformed on capitalist theory and how the world works

Keep these coming rudy. It's inspirational. I use to couch hop and live a tarped leaky trailer. Listening to your advice and waiting it out my wife and I got our 1st house 4 years ago thanks to alot of your advice. Been watching you since 2017!
Rudy... I bought alpha commons and basic lands out of commons boxes in the 1998-2001 era at $0.03 each. 4 sets of alpha basic lands, an Alpha Force Field, and 53 lotus petals later, I learned that people see silver and gold but the money rests with knowledge.... thanks for the knowledge
costco 300. amd 15 - 30 most recently 65... covid was so scary and i just was so focused on my 9-5 didnt care... but omg once you see it,, 100% you must know and act accordingly
Time is weird. I have this idea of Rudy being this crazy old dude (in my mind at least for some reason) and because of that he’s so “wise”. He’s 39… I’m 38. It’s an odd feeling.
As someone who grew up in Jax and wanting to live in Ponte Vedra. I understand exactly the perspective rolling silverware. Now as I'm about the same as you age wise. All that glitters is not gold has never been clearer. I always appreciate financial Rudy even if he was missing the pink visor. Your two main quotes that are on my wall and have inspired me to get my annual 2x. Time in the market always beats timing the market and Doing Anything is better than nothing.
Who else here would like to see more old Magic videos? It would be so cool to see Rudy's most precious binders again, it has been so long. Or collection purchases. Or the occasional box opening from Alpha to Urza's Destiny where patrons get to purchase the packs.
Really funny you took up this topic. I am listening to the Star Wars Audiobook Dark Disciple and when Assaj Ventress takes a drink with Quinlan Voss she asks him about if he has a story, she has a couple but he finds out he really had none. LOL She would properbly out match anyone in that galaxy far far away even a Taco Master. 😂❤
If past Rudy could see now Rudy, he would have looked up to him with an even greater respect than McLeod. Keep up the great work and example you provide for the rest of us!
This brings me back to the same time. I was working for a regional drug chain. I remember being so jealous of the brand new building going up when I took the exit ramp to work. I remember seeing the name “Tom Petters Group” I don’t know if he took wait staff to a Super Bowl, but he had his own new office building (dude didn’t lease he owned it) and Polaroid (the whole freaking company when Hey Ya was was less than 5 years old) and an Airline (Sun Country). Then one late September evening I went to get on 494 and there was a lot of flashing cherries at his new shiney building. Since that day he will likely spend the rest of his days in Leavenworth and gone is 4 Billion dollars in his Ponzi schemes.
Hey Rudy thanks for being internet Dad to me. Long story short which if you want more you will have to buy my online course. Thanks so much for your much more down to earth videos, and recently I have been going back to your financial advice / small business vids and they have helped me get my shit together. Maybe one day Ill come down to tax haven florida and setup shop right across the street like a little Timmy Home Depot.
18:53 Man. That's rough. I can feel proxy pain from your experience thru youtube, 5 months later, to an event decades ago. edit: we just called it 'doba
Man I would love see this type of video but about Rudy's opinion on the subject from the book Black swam, I am sure you got a lot of gold nuggets to give us on that. I wish I had a father like you or a mentor like you.
Rudy, remember that lost origin loose shrink wrap video a few years ago? i actually got one off ebay that was originally purchased from you. (it was not advertised from you but i asked where they got it after it arrived. im stoked. thanks

New movie title:
Booming Guts and Busted Pipes, A Taco Vendors Tale
"The Jacksonville Project: What people are calling the nuclear explosion that killed our taste for flavor."
I like these styles of videos. You can tell Rudy likes talking about them, he's bubbly and candid and having a great time.

$180 in cable & streaming and this is the most interesting thing I’ve watched in months. 🤷♂️
You still pay for cable KEKW
Cable isn't mean to teach you anything. It's meant to distract
*insert snarky comment here because I have an insecure need to feel smarter than others on the internet.
Why tf you on cable ? Weird boomer flex but ok
@@d.b.s.6381 Calm down shill. Nothing "insecure" about pointing out how paying $180 for goyslop entertainment is a massive waste of money.
Poor Rudy, Everyone got invited to the Super Bowl except him and he had to stay behind to roll up silverware for $30 Bucks 😂😂😂 That's Hilarious.

rudy made $35 meanwhile the people at the superbowl did not 😂

To make it ever worse, it was the Super Bowl where Tom Brady cemented his dynasty by winning his third SB in 4 years.
These financial versions of Rudy's videos are so good that I watch all the ads all the way thru.
I like how rudy has an advanced AI green screen that is able to mimic shadows behind him.
Rudy on the casual flex with the perfect 10 waitress eventually becoming his girlfriend

Rudy’s stories are Earthbound.
facts
You mean Earthbind?
I watched the whole video, understood it and I'll summarize,
Rudy: "I run a Ponzi scheme" tips-hat!
This is the content I subbed for. Seriously.
The documentary, The Wolf Of Florida, really over sensationalized the whole saga IMHO. At least Jack Black played you very well, especially the weight and hair loss he did for the role.

What a beautiful background prop! Green screens can make anything look like they are worth $0!
👍 All the times Rudy’s step-family and his Wife’s boyfriend still had to use the local laundromat
100% Best video!!
This is why I started watching your channel..so much wisdom in someone's life experience.
