Hey man i have 1 year left in high school and i want to get into wholesaling real estate. I have the drive to study and learn about this all because i find it interesting. I’m currently saving up money, how much do you think i should save up before getting into this business. I’m starting to understand how this all works but i can’t understand how people initially get into it. Do you guys just grind and save up money until you can invest into real estate ? or are there other methods ? Anyways, your help would be greatly appreciated brother.
@@ΝΞΘηλΝΤΟΜ it depends on your strategy. If you are gonna go the same route as jerry and work with agents then you wouldn't need much as far as money saved up. But if you are gonna o it on your own it will depend on your marketing strategy. the cheapest way to get deals i've found is either driving for dollars or door knocking. if you are gonna DFD you can use apps like Batch driven or Deal machine to track your homes as well as skip trace. so i would save up a few months for the skip tracing and the monthly membership of whatever software you use.
His inspiration to me, was when he admitted to how nervous he was calling the homeowners and trying to talk to them. I know that would be my only fear in this field. So by him being able to overcome that fear with confidence, and continuing to take the initiative to call and talk to the homeowners and get more comfortable, was what inspired me, because I can definitely relate to that.

I appreciate how Lionel describes starting from square one as a beginner and about being nervous with his first attempts and phone calls, but still succeeds in couple of months. One reason my peers doubt me, is they think I'm not a good talker, that you have to be an extrovert in real estate. I'm an introvert, but not uncomfortable with talking to people, so I still expect to succeed despite others seeing me as a social or talking underdog.

We stumbled across wholesaling and then across your channel and have been learning for a solid week about what you do. This particular video inspired me because it showed me that just applying the things you've taught us can get us started in two months. Good job Lionel! Inspiring! On my first day last Monday I found a FSBO called and made a offer on my first day or driving for dollars and cold calling! The offer was denied and the seller wasn't motivated, BUT I was actually moving!! That was so cool! To actually walk the walk! On my first day. Gave me sooo much momentum. Here I am now second week talking with sellers, viewing properties to help my estimate repair value calculations. The best practice for me is hands on and jumping in! Great job Lionel!

My story is very similar to Lionel. Except I am 47 lol. I started in late February got my 1st deal in March with a $7000 assignment fee. I am closing on two more deals in the next 2 weeks and have 2 more deals under contract now and getting one more on Monday that is already verbally agreed on with price and terms. I messed up right away and posted it on Zillow and was told not to do that. But omg I had a list of buyers in 30 minutes still being new had to JV this to get cash buyer crossing my fingers if it goes well it's 50/50 split but 6750 for a payday....still afraid but I know that this will get easier so excited..thank you man
