Best watch ever! I love this more because it has the biggest time font while not looking like a clown. I prefer this over any g-shock because of its font size. Also mip screens nice but 10 years of battery life beats them too!
What is the name of the tool you use to remove/insert the wristband? And is there some alternative tool you can recommend since I don't have whatever you used? Just tried it with a flat screwdriver but can't quite get it done with that.
Hello there! It's called a "Spring bar tool". I'm sorry to say that it's really a tool you need for this task. I guess you could do the job with some precision screw driver for electronics, but it would make you utter even more profanities than you will if you use the spring bar tool. Also I'm sorry to say that you will do yourself a favor if you don't do like me and buy a good quality tool. I was in a hurry (I don't know what for) and I bought the cheap one. It makes you go crazy. A Bergeon or a W&S tool will cost you 20 dollars but you will gain in mental health. I paid my cheap spring bar tool around 5 dollars and I hate it every time I have to change a strap. IN SUMMARY: - the name of the tool is "Spring Bar Tool" - unfortunately you can't do the job well with another tool - if you have that kind of money, buy Bergeon. Hope this helps, Thank you for this comment!!!
@@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed Thanks for the quick reply! I don't know yet if I will really go for the 20$ tool, considering I might just use it once in a lifetime :D saving my mental health sounds good though since I already spend way too much time trying to change the wristband in any other way.
If you're going to use it just once, go for the cheap and consider yourself lucky: you have not been infected by the watch amasser virus. You will save a lot of money and you will make a better use of your time. I, for one, am already deep in the rabbit hole. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I know that feeling! Too bad, because the watch itself is very interesting! But then again, Casio has such a large number of models to choose from, that you can find a nice replacement. Thanks for this comment!
@@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed Thanks for checking! The replacement straps look good. I'll just have to wait and see if the OG straps stick out too much on my small wrist once I get mine. I had the dw-5600bb before and it fits well, although I understand it's a smaller watch.
I did same change, looks awesome.
It's popular modification.
Now You can unlock Timer and 5 alarms.
Yes, the popular mod! I just have to find the courage to open my little beloved Casio, and risk! But it looks easy …

Indeed, this is an awesome piece with great legibility and exceptional features for the price. Thanks for this comment!!!
Quality timepiece you have there, thank you for the review
Casio can conjugate quality with affordability like no one else! Thanks for this comment!
Like your gloves bro, the new strap is better! great video thank you for the upload,
Thank you for your comment!
Gloves get a bit in the way when modding… it’ll show in the next video too.
Thanks for watching!
Interesting for rookies as any watch aficionado knows how to change a strap, battery, adjust mechanical.
Yes, this was aimed at rookies. From a rookie to other rookies. If I did it, anyone else can!
Thanks for this comment!
'Cmon, you are not a rookie !
Ok, let's say I'm a "lifelong learner"!

The one who says he knows all is a dumb: we learn everyday if we want of course.
Learning limit is not defined yet ;)

hello...which model is it gshock??
@ 4:08..it looks like casiogmw5610 but green with green dial looks awesome??
Hello! It's the GWB-5600BC, and you can find a video about it here: th-cam.com/video/yVSwKpSQFdk/w-d-xo.html

I returned this watch mainly because of the strap, it was too long for my wrist and it stuck out too much.

@@WUDN-WatchUDontNeed Is the strap replacement shorter?
@@Patrick-yc3tf hi! I’ve just checked: they are exactly the same length. Even the holes on the strap match pretty closely.

Yes, the dw-5600
Is a bit bigger. I don’t know the size of your wrist, but on my 6.5 inch wrist the w800h fits very well
