People who love music love harmony and there are few who did it better than the letterman. As has been said, reminds us of other, more simple time. God I miss those days of innocence. What memories.
Well that actually depends on what your present day AGE is,,,,,,,, as a dictator whether or not today's world is like "Living in Hell" or not. For those who are UNDER age 45 today,,,, today's world is (for the most part) paradise-like. If you happen to be "over" age 60 today,,,,, AND if your accumulated wealth (today) is still "under" $1 Million US Dollars,, ,, AND if both your parents are deceased,,, and if heathwise you've slowed down somewhat,,, and if you're not currently living with a (deeply in love with each other) "significant other partner,",, and your annual income is under $80,000 (per individual),, then yes,, today's world (latter days of the 2010 decade) IS (most likely) "Living in Hell",,, for you,, ,,,, sad to say.
A lot of it is that when we are young, we feel so alive and the world is wonderful place. When we are old and see the young now, it's like being in another not so great world
I really feel sorry for the younger generation. I can't imagine them looking back when they get old with such nostalgic love for their junk they call music.
I absolutely agree. I'm 19 and I feel sorry for all the people that are my age who enjoy the music of today, especially when it's the same bland lyrics and uninspired musical arrangements.
We recorded this in the early '90s from the original Lettermen charts at Take One Studio, Burbank, CA for the CD, "Lettermen Favorites" re-released 2008.
Generally seems like you can find yourself driving in the most ordinary situations, just as you’ve gotten your heart broken. At least that’s been my story.
What memories this brings back.
Love, love, love the harmony.

Beautiful. Thanks.
Perfect sound and arrangement. Obviously this is an other recording than the 1969 single version.

It's called good, creative, imagination. It's cool to be open to it - hearing songs on the radio in the car, etc.
