      @@mohammadsaifullah6170 I agree with you. Since east Pakistan is a cluster of different ethnic groups living together, people do become separated. Furthermore, they speak their own language and live on their own cultural lines. However, it would be incorrect to say that they want separation from Pakistan. There is a movement in Balochistan, but it is at a very low level.

    Now while the Aligarh and western educated muslims: Sunnis, Ismailis, Qadianis, etc. were united to obtain a separate homeland the Ulema I Deoband and Maualana Maudidi, founder of Jamaat i Islami, opposed its creation. So did other religious outfits like the Ahrars. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad the Deoband scholar was called the 'showboy of Congress' by the Quaid.

  • @Bareilykobans
    @Bareilykobans 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    It does not matter whether the Quaid was Shia or Sunni or religous or not religious he achieved for the muslims of South Asia what many more religious persons could not; an independent country. Before this amount was released eventually Pakistan needed money and Sir Agha Khan and number of muslim businessmen had donated money but Sir Agha Khan's share was huge about 2b rs. I believe. Pakistan was created because Congress and the muslims could not reach a political settlement.I blame Congress. So yes agreed but with proviso.

    I cannot vouch for the amount as I also have not read the exact amount anywhere, but it was pretty substantive. Yes muslim separatism was one of the factors in the whole issue but not the only one. Remember the goup that actually fought the case for muslims were western educated and relatively secular muslims and not the religious groups like Jamiat ulema i Hind or Maudidi. The debate primarily was about safeguards for muslims, once they were not agreed,Pakistan emerged as a by-product.

    So in the end I guess the faith of Mohammad( peace be upon him) is not enough to make nations.. Islam is a way of individual.. nations dont get made on the basis of religion but on Culture.. We denied Bangalis their language and right to rule when they won elections...We in the West Pakistan are responsible for the independence of Bangladesh. We better appologize to bangali people for the unfair treatment we gave them.. High time.

    Jute was all replaced by nylon and other oil-based fabrics, and it riuned the jute economy. These are fascinating vids, all of them, and they show a politically incorrect narration of the world through unabashed American imperialism eyes. just fascinating nonetheless!

    I doubt that Agha Khan contributed 2B rs. In fact, I have yet to read it in any history book. Further, regarding Pakistan, it was not because of congress, it was primarily because of Islam as muslims wanted to have their own homeland. This situation can still be witness in many of the non-muslim countries, where muslim have sizeable poplulation.

    Muslims from Pakistan are generally more secular minded, progressive and worldly than Indian Muslims who are caught up in their "minority" complex. The requirements of a nation state have forced Pakistan to take up professions which were previously not "Muslim".
    Jinnah himself opted for partition only as a last resort and tried to keep India united.

    Ok my young friend this is my last response to you on this video. It is good that you are religious at a young age but that should not bias your views. On Pakistan read the Jinnah Papers, Khalid Bin Sayeed's Pakistan the Formative Phase, works of Dr. I. H. Qureshi, The Wavell Papers and Stanley Wolperts'Jinnah of Pakistan'. You are young and knowledge will empower you to make Pakistan a better country but biased uninformed views will neither help you nor the country.

    Ok my young friend I admit this was a difficult one. Pakistan's first foreign minister was Sir Zafarullah Chaudhary. Now what was his sect? O I remember he was a Qadiani. Now if Mr. Jinnah had become religious in his last years he was still very tolerant. A qadiani as a foreign minister! now that is as bad as having a jew as a foreign minister is n't it?
    You know who gave the largest financial chunk to save the country from financial collapse in 1947? :)
