I'm Grenadian from the parish of St John's living in the UK. I'm really enjoying your TH-cam blogs keep up the good work. Bye the way I know your father and late mother I'm SDA and my wife is related to you. Small world.
Another great topic. Very informative, especially about our first names. It is a shame about things not been computerised fully. Way behind Jamaica for example in technology as a whole. Keep up the good work Zoe.
Curiosity arises out of a place called Zulu mountain, in Grenada. Some call it Peggy's Whim. Wonder if that somehow is related to the Zulu tribe, of Africa. Sad to say Grenada has not been too archival of our history . Lots of work needs to be done.
Great to follow this movement to keep Grenada Carriacou and Petit Martnique's family tree alive. Trying to find out exactly what is the connection of a place, in the mountain sometimes refered to as , or called Zulu Mountain., Peggy's Whim. Question on my mind is , if connected to the Zuku tribe of Africa. Keep up this important work .
@@ExodusCollective Yes it is...I did the DNA analysis Akan/Ghana and Igbo/Nigeria. Previous comments was deleted maybe its because I gave the company name, not sure.
@@akanmoonigbosun6615 oh no, can you post it again? I wanna know the company name! My ancestry is 60% Nigerian so would love to know the breakdown - apparently my maternal grandfather came from Ibo people...
@@ExodusCollective I think youtube removed it, It might have been considered advertising... I used African Ancestry with Dr. Gina Page, I wanted to know the specific tribe. I wrote it out this time without giving the direct link.
Our ancestors "IS" our foundation, and it is imperative that we teach our younger generations about where they came from.... why we need to keep their legacy alive. The things that our ancestors did whyle they were here, that we still need to continue on with, also this needs to be implemented in Grenada curriculum soon than later... African history! We need to stop over looking our history and start living in it again. we are strong Africans and are highly favored.. yes, and your guess is absolutely correct, we must keep records.. one should know atleast 7 generations back in order to say I know who I am. Ase 💧

Very interesting interview... Thank you.
Some of the archives could be in the French museum because the France had colonize Grenada for some time as well before Britain take it back
