I know this is an older guide, but there are a couple ways to maximise the Swordfighter class' power. 1. As a Kevesi class, they are able to inherit the Mighty Beat art from Lost Vanguard, which means he is able to inflict Smash for enormous damage. When fused with Air Slash, the Smash art can reach the damage cap very easily with enough support. 2. Dynamite Spirit and one of the other skills can be replaced with Ultimate Qigong and Critical Strike. Ultimate Qigong grants an insane damage boost because his attacks are treated as if the enemy physical def is reduced by 50 percentage points, which can go into negatives. Critical Strike increases the critical hit damage from +25% of regular damage to +75% which is a pretty good boost.
tbh. this ain't much of a min/max guide to begin with. i mean yeah, by getting the mastery bonus on combat start (unlimited) you get by; but in terms of the class as a bass this is a pretty horrible guide. nevermind that it's a suboptimal dps build the moment you don't use unlimited.
Thanks once again for the helpful build guides! Looking forward to your vids helping me through Threenoblade just as they helped me through Three Hopes.
hey dude. this is only sort of related to the video but I did want to say I feel like you beat yourself up for taking a small break, or not doing midgame builds, or what have you. I wanted to assure you there's absolutely no reason to do that - your guides have been absolutely amazing and so timely. I'm gonna start Xenoblade 3 soon, and I can't wait to have these videos as guidance!
Thank you! I appreciate that. I wouldn't say I beat myself up per se, I just feel like it took me so long to start these end game builds that it may have been too late for them to really do well.
Thanks for the videos. I like how you comment that the mid level gems are viable end game. I like the directions given to minimize the time to maximize the aquiring of class leveling. Do you have the information for each of the end game videos written down somewhere?
One thing you didn't mention is that there is a quest that allows you to upgrade the weapons on the 6 starting classes. However, the upgrade only applies to the character that the class belongs to. This is another reason the 6 starting classes work best on their original characters.
I’m not to sure how builds work but I saw someone using mighty beat with air slash with Noah and they killed a super boss within 10 seconds with two break topple launch smash combos is that any good?
Though I don't play this game, it does seem strange you went straight to end game: when you held a vote as to whether to do midgame builds first or go straight to end game, over 2/3rds voted for mid game builds. Why the change?
Because I had to make a choice between people who voted and people who commented. If you look at that post, every single comment asked for end game. So I had to value the comments more then the votes since it takes more effort to comment. So the people who wanted the end game builds wanted it more then the people who wanted mid game.
@@BurnerRebornGaming that makes sense, but then what of the FE builds staying 120? Both comments and votes were strongly in favor of just doing level 70.
@@BurnerRebornGaming also midgame build aren't worth it, since they get updated so fast and its easy to apply the stuff from endgame builds to midgame build, if really needed
Realistically, if you just naturally progressed you might be able to get 5 or 6 classes to 10, and a few more to 20. It depends on a lot of things. If your battling all the uniques, or elite mobs, if your doing side quests etc. I over grinded a bunch and I managed to keep every class maxed on everyone until it started opening up to rank 20, I did a few and ultimately decided on post game for the rest of the grind.

quick, concise and spolier free, great video, was just what i was looking for
I like the idea to do builds for classes vs for characters. great stuff as always man!
Thank you! Yeah I figured it was the right move to make.
Nice to have you back. :D
Glad to be back. :)
The man is back! We missed you.
I missed you guys too! I felt so bad not responding to the comment for a little while lol
Nice to see you back, hoping for a Seraph or Troubador build soon.

I purposely left that out. I deemed it to be too much of a spoiler. You'll notice in the background though I am indeed wielding the ultimate weapons.
Ahhh so I'll be mastering them before post game then
Welcome to XCs where the main character is usually broken AF
I put Lanz as my sword fighter and he was a freaking Tank
I'd love to get your opinion on Incursor and Alexandria.
Or simply Incursor, if necessary.
I'll def be getting to that class pretty soon.

Thanks buddy. Super helpful. Question on cancelling. Are you only able to cancel into arts? You can’t cancel into normal attacks right?
Yeah, as far as I know thats correct.
How many classes can each character go through from start to post-game? Without overgrinding I mean

I released one of each.
What clothing is Noah wearing in this? I can’t find this anywhere in my list.
The thumbnail or the video? In the thumbnail this is his normal sword fighter clothing, in the video I believe I had on Thaumaturge
Quick question: Does Unlimited Sword share the same skills with whatever Noah's base class is before using it?
Good question, I think so but I would have to test it
Yes, same skills but different damage
