One thing you never mentioned about the Spear of Assal is that it's also effective against Cavalry Units & in my opinion that makes it really worth using.

I really love the fact that our male magic users are finally good. I loved Three Houses but the gender-locked classes really hindered a lot of Male units, especially the magic users. Glad to see Hubert and Lorenz up so high!

I'm making a build for Raphael called Fists of Time. I haven't finished it, but you could probably tell what accessory I equipped for it.

Honestly, my main contention with this list is how much the healing abilities of the units that have such play into their ranking, realistically you should be trying your level best to avoid damage in the first place with dodges and such, I understand that its nearly impossible to always dodge everything and never take damage ever but that should still be the goal to stretch towards to the point that imho even if it were at some real Deadpool levels of self healing it shouldnt factor in too strongly

Nominate BowKn Ingrid for S tier, her personal is broken when spamming Deadeye + Break Shot with the Inexhaustible.

One point I'd like to make about Balthus's Golden Fists is that he makes gold when he sends enemies flying, NOT when he kills them (like Despoil). Meaning he doesn't have to actually kill them in order to trigger it. Most mooks might die to a combo, but if you're committed to grind gold, you can give him a weak weapon and just spam 3 light attacks and 1 Heavy (as Brawler class) to generate a ton of cash inside a Stronghold. Preferably a weapon with the Chain buff to extend the hit counter.

I should note that Seteth’s unique (from his Simple Fishing Rod) works as well as Claude’s in giving Flayn Essence of Wind. Plus it has additional upside in its secondary effect to deal bonus damage to windtorn enemies.

I'm thinking of building him as a War Master with Aura Knuckles, Frozen Fist, and Aslepius. This actually takes advantage of essence of ice and war master has a really solid combo that knocks opponents away all the time to proc the paintbrush.

I had been running him as a dancer with Ridill for my Golden Wildfire run to have a second unit who can beat Tomes after Raphael. I gave him Hubert's unique and combined it with excalibur and windsweep/cutting gale/wind until everything died. But maybe the better course of action would be Dark Bishop with Amalthea. This would give me more reason to slot Lifeforce into the build because Amalthea's divine glow can mitigate the self-damage. It's just a matter of whether an essence-boosted wind strong attack from Dark Bishop is anywhere near as good as the fire one on Balthus and I have honestly no idea.

I’m going to try this build for sure, but with Járngreipr and Renewal + Lifeforce. Basically I’m going to try to combine the heal + power idea in the holy knight build with the awesomeness of gauntlets. Járngreipr resonating with Ferd’s crest helps a lot, all he’s really missing is Lifetaker. I also wonder about the efficacy of Flamewhorl Kick combined with Essence of Fire. It does a good job of getting that hit count up for Rejuvenation and Max Ambulation
