@@chinarep1 But why not? do they just assume they will beat them because mario is mid tier? Seems like a bad attitude to have especially because mario is not a well known matchup. Take that experience or get beaten by every good mario because you never bothered to learn the matchup.
@@dragborn926 most people just find the mu annoying. Also at the time of this video unranked was on the old algorithm and most Marios I ran into were pretty terrible. I usually gave them one game to be polite and left. With new unranked algorithm I hardly ever see Marios and when I do they tend to be decent compared to me so I play a few games.
quitting out vs lowtiers at start is the definition of insecure and spoiled. Back when netplay wasnt a thing you would drive miles just for a few games and you may STILL even have to face some BS.
Quit-out penalties might need to happen. They've done it in fighting games since 2012. I trust that the Slippi guy can program the system to differentiate quit-outs due to bad lag and quit-outs that are done for no real reason.
