Traditional Hand Honed Straight Razor Shaving by Modern Barber

In this video I demonstrate a shave using a traditional hand-honed straight razor. The straight razor used in this video was purchased used at an estate sale, it's probably about 70 years old and was found in fair but not shaving condition. Like about 7 other vintage straight razors, I have through painstaking rigors brought this razor back into commercial service. Although I have gotten some of my razors into pretty good shaving shape I still hope to improve and advance my honing skills.
