I recently dug out my PS Vita and modded it. It was pretty easy, no computer needed. I missed out on a lot of Vita titles, so being able to acquire games has put new life into my device.
Now this is a mod I’d love to do to my PS Vita TV. How do I contact Dr. Mod if I don’t have FaceTime or instagram or any social media besides TH-cam? An email would be awesome.
I have 2 VitaTVs. Both launch units. One black, one white. And a DekaVita7 it's called an Ethernet port, not a socket. And upon completing the video, none of this is new
Exactly. Very old news. I remember whitelist hacking mine when they were 19.99 at Walmarts and Best buy. Also should mention the android game ports and homebrew scene.
Something I would like to know is can you pair this mod with a regular vita (dqy 1, 3g capable model in my case) to where you can swap the vita cartridge adapter with the sd card between the two to make the library hotswappable to be on-the-go if you want
It probably wouldnt of failed if it had streaming services on it like netflix roku and youtube on it. Back when that came out the rokus were still popular. Could of at least lived up to the tv side of its name.
I had a modded Xbox, but my sister threw it away, but it had so much stuff on it I couldn’t believe it but the 64 games didn’t play very well and some of them froze a lot.
Sadly not cheap enough. For that Price i can have a raspberry pi 5 with more power and RAM to Emulate N64 and DC, too. Is that always Native Resolution on this Playstation Vita TV? What Emulators are they? Is that Retroarch or some standalone Emulators?
Get an Ayn Odin 2. It’ll emulate everything up to Switch but N64 and Dreamcast are a breeze for it. The Odin Mini looks and feels a lot like a thick vita. Vita3K emulator is pretty new in version 12 but it’s fun to play with if you are looking for one
I figured dr.mod to be a more green ranger guy, but the red helmet was a nice touch lol
😂😂 he said the same thing
Ps tv could of been so much better
Agreed. It could of been big for playing classic games for sure. Could of even had a pstv pro by now
Could have*, dumbass
I was a graphics guy for zx81's PSP Intellivision Homebrew emulator.

PS3 was my first software mod and hardware.

Great timing i just started messing with my pstv again
So if I find a cheap one online. I can just insert my PSP Adapter from my modded Vita and it will work?
Why is the Xbox 360 your preferred Mod?
Does dr mod have a website?
He does not. Has an Instagram page or email him drmodslab@yahoo.com
VERY COOL
after the mod can it still play carts?
Awesome
That's not Dr. Mod. That's Jason from Power Rangers.

Hey, all! Is it possible to put Hall effect analog sticks in a PS Vita?

Sorry I'm having to do this and they reply but I'm just curious if anybody knows my doctor mod is so mysterious
