The penalty he missed was the first one and people acting as if it was the one that lost the game was still tied after he missed it. In that Tournement they would not be in the final if it wasn't for messi 5 Goals 4 Assists. That was the best time for his team to step up and Higuain as usual misses an absolute sitter 10 mins into game. As good as he is he can't do it all and sometimes his teamates have to help him too. The 2015 final was a joke how can he be the only Argentina player to score a penalty.

Messi in the season of 2014 had two serious injuries and was absent for a long period, and Barça didn't win LaLiga that year.

If you take a look at Pele’s world cup teams, he had world class players everywhere, hell he got injured in the group stage and brazil went on to win the WC anyway. They didn’t need him yet add Pele to the team, Brazil’s chances of winning the WC increases a lot. Maradona had a great team as well, at least a team that seemed to have a chemistry and structure. Brazilian Ronaldo had world class players around him, the likes of Rivaldo Kaka Ronaldinho, Dida as the Goal Keeper, world class defenders and midfielders!
