Hey thanks for reacting to this amazing song, so glad you enjoyed as it's so very different from the other FNM songs you've reacted to already 😎 If you want to reaact to something from 'The Real Thing' album, try the title track or 'Zombie Eaters' both tracks are killer!!!!

@Roxanne Mitchell caffeine 92-95 live performance are the best 👌. But this dude gotta check out the album. Angel dust is legendary. Whole decades of bands were influenced by this album.

I love how Roddy plays the ALERT sound from Metal Gear Solid on the keyboard at the end

Ok. You discovered an ambient sound of (late) FNM. :) With all that electronic gizmos of drum machine at the beginning and the keyboards almost till the end . :) Also, you`ve noticed an epic simplicity of their guitar solos. :) Pay in mind it that was their third guitarist in the row that played that solo in this song. But all other guitar players somehow carried and continued the same philosophy the first one introduced (the one from the albums "Real Thing" and "Angel Dust") - Jim Martin. Although JM jammed with Metallica`s bassist Cliff Barton in his days of youth and was prone to all kind of metal solo speed-stuff, he always kept some tonal simplicity and precision in his playing, and that became a trade-mark of FNM. ;) It`s easy as that: do you remember that solo from "Epic", isn`t it the same type of solo that you`ve heard in this song "Stripsearch" now ? :) Exactly. :) And another one you will hear in the song "Ashes to Ashes" from the same album this song is. :) But you`ll hear it later... ;) Now, it`s time for a Real Thing, what do you say? :) I propose the first song from that album: "From out of Nowhere".. :) Oh, yeah, their first big-time commercial single from MTV, back in 1989. :) Either that, or "Zombie Eaters".... You pick. :)) After these two, you go to thrash-metal holocaust of theirs called "Surprise! You`re Dead!"... Just, goooo~!! :D

You need to move straight into Ugly In The Morning from the same album. It will have you busting thru the wall like the koolaid man. Killer reaction.

ugly in the morning is not the same album.

Since you did two of their more tame tunes, just as a suggestion maybe, Jizzjobber, gentle art of making enemies, collision, ugly in the morning, all of those tunes have a little mustard on them, and you’ll notice some of their weightier material is not necessarily heavy as much as it is ugly, for example, Jizzlobber is basically a horror movie wrapped up in a tune, Keep it up buddy!

If it hasn't been mentioned to you before, I can let you know that whilst Mikes' lyrics are deep and different, Mike has stated many times that he places more importance 'the sound of the words' rather than the meaning. Catch you at the next one.
