Interesting thing that I finds about him is that the fact he attended Miyagi academy a private highschool. Meaning he's actually really smart... I mean it's kinda obvious since he was able to keep up with others who Vanguard longer but I didn't realise it until later on.

I find it funny when the students in Aichi's class are laughing at him. They don't realize how he is literally one of the TOP players of the most popular trading card game in the WORLD. Aichi is effectively a celebrity at this point. Not many people can say they went to high school with a celebrity. Even if I didn't know much about the game, I would totally be impressed by that kind of accomplishment. Also, he possess Psyqualia, a superpower that few people have that allow a player to manipulate the cards they draw while cardfighting. All of this in addition to Aichi being the last line of defense between the world and the Link Joker crisis, Aichi is a freaking god among men.
Psyqualia doesn't manipulate the cards the wielder draws. It merely allows the wielder to speak to the cards. So it doesn't mean you'll win all your matches.

A world champion who achieved that in less than a year of playing Vanguard officially. He defeated a World Class Player like Kai on his first battle. Sure, Kai took it easy on him, but he played fair and didn't hold back his Avatar's Ability just because Aichi didn't have a Grade 3. If not for Elaine, then Aichi would have lost. It goes to show you that the game isn't over until the last card is revealed.
Vanguard original is the only show that I can say the name of any character and say 'This is one of my favourite characters' consistently. Miwa? One of my favourites, Naoki? Misaki? Kourin (especially LJ), Ren, Tetsu, Kyou, Kai, the list goes on. Original Vanguard is just so good

They weren't planning that far ahead. Watching this shows a great example of greed and poor future planning. But still the effort is not missed. They do a very good job with the cards and the show now. I can really see the team growing over the years. They could do some work on tournaments. could be cool if they put winners of the tcg in the show.
nope this is better for most of the people as they are more familiar with this one as most of the people have watched the English dub version since it was more popular due to it being telecasted on animax and youtube and major audience of both animax tv channel and youtube are English , and the English dub version didn't had break your spell opening in any of the episodes other than one of the last episodes and that too it was used for background music not for the opening , therefore break your spell isn't familiar to most of the people as compared to this one
I'd agree that Break Your Spell would have been the opening for the ending of the series. But Vanguard Fight is still nice too, and it follows the JP one too since they started out with it.

It's an understandable plot line, but personally I don't like it. Kourin saying that people have to beat either her or Aichi to get in is not what Aichi wants. Aichi just wants to play his favorite game and make new friends, and I understand part of the reason Kourin makes that rule is so noone joins just because of her but an easy way to get what both founding members want is to just make a rule that you have to Cardfight at least 5 or 10 times a session and make sure they don't just constantly fight Kourin by just denying a match from anyone that is still there just because of Kourin. Anyone still there after a few weeks or so and no longer challenging just Kourin to a Cardfight are the ones that are actually having fun and not there just because of Kourin.
i think the real reason is Kourin knows they'll eventually have to fight in tournments, and bringing a bunch of fanboys and girls to a tournment will mean they will lose, making the club and school look bad, and risking the safety of their club
It's true that her rule prevents Aichi from getting what he really wants. However, the students evidently showed no interest in Vanguard whatsoever, even laughing at Aichi for playing it on the first day. Their priority was to talk to Kourin, something she clearly didn't want. Hence, why the rule was smart.
and also y'know, since they'd have to play in tournaments, it'd literally be dead-weight also-also later in the series, more people become interested (Around the campe-out arc) but overall, i think the rule was smart @@ninjasmusic123

@newlegend2402 they might have bowed out since at the end of the Asia Circuit series, only three teams were standing on the podium (Team Q4, Asteroid and SIT Genius). Could have been an error, but who knows

It's an understandable plot line, but personally I don't like it. Kourin saying that people have to beat either her or Aichi to get in is not what Aichi wants. Aichi just wants to play his favorite game and make new friends, and I understand part of the reason Kourin makes that rule is so noone joins just because of her but an easy way to get what both founding members want is to just make a rule that you have to Cardfight at least 5 or 10 times a session and make sure they don't just constantly fight Kourin by just denying a match from anyone that is still there just because of Kourin. Anyone still there after a few weeks or so and no longer challenging just Kourin to a Cardfight are the ones that are actually having fun and not there just because of Kourin.
i think the real reason is Kourin knows they'll eventually have to fight in tournments, and bringing a bunch of fanboys and girls to a tournment will mean they will lose, making the club and school look bad, and risking the safety of their club
It's true that her rule prevents Aichi from getting what he really wants. However, the students evidently showed no interest in Vanguard whatsoever, even laughing at Aichi for playing it on the first day. Their priority was to talk to Kourin, something she clearly didn't want. Hence, why the rule was smart.
and also y'know, since they'd have to play in tournaments, it'd literally be dead-weight
