To those people who says this is a ripoff of Pokémon and others... There are a ton of other anime that is a ripoff of Pokémon/power rangers/Digimon or whatever so saying that this is a ripoff of those shows isn’t really saying much.
Honestly, I really think I’m a sucker for this type of show, having monsters and/or mechas in the premise, with every aspect of the show being spelled out and being dubbed in English (even though it is subpar, I still love it). Fight me, I’m about two minutes into this show and I already like it ^-^
