Magiting+ S2E12 - Magiting na Mamamahayag

The newspaper La Libertad was published in 1898, soon after the declaration of Philippine independence. Its founders used a printing press found in the Asilo de Huérfanos (orphanage) in Malabon to publish the paper.
Meanwhile, the National Press Club Building in Manila was built in the 1950s as watering hole for journalists working in the Intramuros area.
Both structures are a testament to the long and rich history of journalism in the country.
