Nice review!! Ranger has open cartridges' and the MR and ISDE have closed cartridges' on the KYB. THis is why it feels so much softer from factory! The Ranger seat is lower from the factory as well, so, buy a MR PRO seat or ISDE seat and that will change the cockpit feel. I actually put the Ranger seat on my MR300PRO. I love my MR300Pro, there are really three for consideration in the 300 range from Rieju. The Ranger 300 which is built softer and a little more gentle which has open cartridge's KYB, Has some great additions like a stock adjustable linkage! you can adjust it lower or higher from stock. The most expensive 300 is the ISDE or six days editions, They have closed cartridge's KYB suspension. The bike is essentially the same with the exception of the skid plate, the exhaust, foot pegs. But, you can easily add or change any of these, The MR pro and ISDE come with the very best components you can buy, so for the money you are getting one hell of a bike. I own Yz450fx, yz250x and the Rieju 300MR pro. It's definitely an awesome bike, I love it! There is the dealership in Heber or if you further north you can check out Motoworx in Ogden, He's awesome and easy to deal with. Enjoy the ride!! BTW, you can completely change the Ranger power with some carb and especially exhaust. I have the JD jetting kit in mine. My son bought a new 300 Ranger and he's loving it!!!
Awesome thanks for all the info! This was a demo day put on by the shop in heber! I got to try all the bikes! They were all great in different ways! This ranger had the exhaust from the 300 pro as well! I was very impressed with all the bikes! Thanks fo the info and for watching!
If you get a MR pro seat it will have the same seat to peg height as the pro. I have a 2022 ranger and I bought a pro seat and got a seat concepts cover. Now my leg room is perfect.
Yes I found out about the seat later. I went up a raviegn in the video.. tight single track isn't quite open our mountains are covered in snow. This was also the end of the demo so I didn't have much time on it to go explore the desert single track
Are the frames the same size? I was looking at the Ranger because of the lower seat height but don't want to be cramped. I'm on a Gasgas ex350 now, my legs are short so it gets interesting out in the woods sometimes. I'm also 61 so I don't want anything that will rip my arms off. Thanks
@user-fz8fy4zl1c As far as I know they can be swapped, at least on the 2022 models. It's around a 1" or so diffference. It's true the ranger seat is slightly more comfortable as well.
@@rookietrucker1240 The Ranger is lower by default I believe, and also comes with an adjustable link so it can be lowered or raised even more. If your worried about the height, the ranger has more height adjustment out of the box than probably any two stroke. It's pretty sweet. I believe the frame is the same size as the pro it's just a little lower from the factory with a lower seat height. On the 2024 Rieju Ranger 300 web page you can see a image of the lowering link. I think the Ranger could be a good fit for you. I'm 52 and have both the Beta Xtrainer and Rieju Ranger and power wise the Xtrainer has more torque down low and a smoother powerband. But I like to ride them both. The Rieju has more midrange hit but it's nothing that will rip your arms off. It's a fun hit. Both bikes are great. I bought the Beta for myself and the Rieju for my son but I set them both up for me and find myself not favoring one over the other. The JDjet kit for the Xtrainer is spot on. I had issues with the JDkit for the Rieju so I left the stock jetting. I'm considering upgrading to a Smart Carb on that one and putting a FMF Gnarly pipe to open it up a bit. I have a few videos tinkering with it up in Michigan on my channel @notgamingwithmax
@@rookietrucker1240 frames are the same. the only difference is the seat. i asked the dealer! so the ranger has a shaved shorter seat and it makes quite a difference. you can also put the other seat on it if you want
How long are your legs? I'm interested in this bike but like you don't want to be cramped. My inseam is about 31. This is the first review I've seen where someone actually rode the bike and spoke about it. I was thinking the Beta X trainer , but the ranger suspension is supposed to be better. Thanks
Ok so I talked to the rieju shop they said you can get the seat from the other bikes and then it's normal. Apparently all that's different is this bike comes with a lower profile seat. It's much softer as well. The suspension on this bike was really good! Also this one they put the pipe from the race edition bikes to give it a little more pep! Really fun bike and a really good price point! I've never ridden the x trainer so I'm no help there!

Awesome! When you say that the suspension is soft, is it CRF300 soft or...?
I just mean plush! Not harsh! When you hit sharp edge rocks you don't feel them at all!
@@utmx Thanks for clarifying.
