- The Silverton Casino and Lodge is my home casino. I play the majority of my games here, and I eat here on comps pretty often. Mi Casa Su Casa (also known as the Mi Casa Grill Cantina) is a dual Mexican and Japanese restaurant and I've eaten here several times. Typically I've only had their Mexican food so I'm looking forward to trying out their Japanese dishes as well because
Every restaurant is a buffet if you're willing to pay!
Thanks for watching!

Mi Casa Grill Cantina is such a hidden gem at Silverton! The mix of Mexican and Japanese dishes makes it a unique spot.
Yes agreed. Very unique here. Thanks for watching!
We live near Silverton. That is an interesting mix. what dish would you recommend for first timers?
@@FrankAndSammi the quesabirria tacos!
Taquitos are so underrated the crisp, usually shredded beef what a Combo! Always such an inviting dish
I love me some taquitos! And solid here at Mi Casa. Thanks for watching!
Hey Shin! Thanks so much for a very descriptive and indepth review of this establishment. Tonight i preferred the Mexican dishes! Wonderful ❤
I definitely like the Mexican dishes here over the Japanese also. Thanks for watching Diana!
Mi Casa has long had my favourite chicken nachos in Vegas. Huge portion, great quality. The mushroom enchiladas are also quite good.
The Mexican food is really solid here. I gotta try those next time. Thanks for watching!
Been there many times. Shrimp enchiladas are a favorite.
The Mexican food here is really solid. I'll have to try the shrimp enchilada sometime. Thanks for watching!
I love Mi Casa! The decor, service and food are always on point! Thanks for sharing, Shin.
I like it here too! I will probably eat more often at Sundance but I think I'll be coming here with my comps more often. Thanks for watching!
Interesting mix of food choices, Japanese & Mexican food rarely are seen in one restaurant together, seen many Japanese/Mexican fusion places but nothing like this concept. Thanks for sharing this food review, food looks delicious.
Agreed. Mexican and Japanese are a rare combo in this fashion. I definitely enjoyed my evening here. Thanks for watching!
Continued success…..vlogs are very informative….now I want to try “Mi Casa, Su Casa”
Thank you! I hope you enjoy it if you try it. Thanks for watching!
Hi Shin, such a great variety at this restaurant. The food looks very fresh and tasty. Ty for the review.😊
First off I love your haircut everything looked wonderful give me all the Mexican food and the place was beautiful have a great week see you on Saturdays show ❤
Lots of range both at this restaurant and the Silverton in general. Thanks for watching!
Your content is so entertaining man thanks for your channel
I appreciate that! Glad you like the videos. Thanks for watching!
So many good things to eat, how I would have loved to be there. Thanks for a primo experience yet again, Shin!
Definitely a lot of tasty options here! Thanks for watching!
Hii Shin!! Whenever there is sushi involved I never eat off the regular menu. It’s sushi or bust! Glad to know this restaurant exists, it’s perfect because my husband loves Mexican and I love sushi so perfect fit for both of us. Also not too far from Delano. Definitely going on my list. See you Saturday!
Nice! It's a rare combo to see Japanese and Mexican in the same place so sounds like it was made for you and your husband. I hope you enjoy it when you try it! Thanks for watching Diane!
Great meal buddy...have a great week til Sat ❤😊
Thank you Jade! Have a great week and I'll see you Saturday!
New sub! Thanks for sharing your experience at mi casa! Always wanted to try this restaurant out! I love Mexican food! What dish would you recommend for first timer?
Welcome to the channel! I definitely recommend getting the quesabirria tacos to start. I hope you like them! Thanks for watching!
Man Shin, you sure can put it down! Goodness! I am overwhelmed just watching you. I'm good with one chicken taco or a cheese quesadilla with guacamole. Great review! 😅
I typically take fewer than 3 bites of each dish/item. I have almost full plates of food for takeaway that I eat during the few days after I record. It's a nice little system I have lol. Thanks for watching!
Yum! Great video as per usual, Shin. See you Saturday!
I feel very at home at the Silverton so this one was easy to make lol. Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!
EVERYTHING REALLY LOOKS GOOD. THANKS FOR SHARING, KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE WORK MY FRIEND. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😁👍🏼
Very tasty food here definitely. Thanks for watching Tracey!
This one was a joy to watch! Most everything a winner. And hopefully those tamales made up for the sad, sad tamales at Buffalo Bills. 😂 I hope that if the corn made it home, you turned it into a taco!!
These tamales were, no joke, 10000% better than the ones at Buffalo Bills lol. I've already eaten all the leftovers from this video and it was all still fine though no corn taco lol. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I bet you could have just put everything together in a casserole dish and it STILL would have been good!
all looks great ty for sharing
Happy you thought so! Thanks for watching Claire!
Oh my oh my, all the Mexican food looks absolutely amazing!!! I’m so hungry!! Thank you for sharing!
I'm glad you like it! The Mexican food here is great. Thanks for watching!
Shin- loved the freeze shot with the dish titling that’s a nice touch!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked that!
The Mexican food looked delicious!
Very tasty. I really like the quesabirria tacos here. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin are you going to try Norms when they open? I just read that they will announce the opening day next week.
Wow this is such a cool place! The food looked great. Awesome video Shin!
Agreed! Very cool place here. Thanks for watching Jade!
So weird to see sushi with fries! lol! Looks like Silverton has good ethnic restaurants. Thanks again, Sue
Silverton definitely has range when it comes to their food options. If only they would reopen their buffet. One can dream. Thanks for watching!
You know it's good when Shin rolls his eyes.
It's true lol. Thanks for watching!
Everything looks so good there.
Agreed! Some good food here for sure. Thanks for watching!
Quite a big menu! Great review, I've always wondered about this place. 👍
Big menu and the food is solid, especially the Mexican fare. Thanks for watching!
That is a very cool looking restaurant. I guess I’d order Mexican 😉Thanks for sharing it with us.
I do like the look of the restaurant. It's very unique. The Mexican food is definitely the better of the two. Thanks for watching Lucia!
Stopped in to Silverton on my last trip... unfortunately that restaurant appeared not open in the afternoon... the Japanese/Mexican combo appeared weird to me... Good to see your review... Hopefully the Silverton will still have free parking on my next trip...(unlike more and more casinos... having to pay for parking too is a deal killer)...
I very much doubt Silverton is going to have paid parking. The Bass Pro Shop there makes it almost impossible I feel like. People want to stop and shop and that would be a huge barrier. Who knows though. Thanks for watching!
Both cuisines looked very good. It was great when the burrito kinda fell apart for a minute. Shin, maybe add some bloopers now and then? I love your channel and always look forward to the new uploads.
I'll think about bloopers but it's so much extra editing and thinking lol. I'll give it some serious thought though. Thanks for watching!
Wow Shin! You really knocked it out of the park with this video and review. From the looks of all of the food consumed, people better wear sweatpants and leave the belt at home. I can EASILY understand why you tapped out and you are like me, if I like a dish, when I eat it two hands ARE NOT ENOUGH. Take care.
That's always a potential problem if I like a dish too much. I can really only afford to take 1-2 bites per dish or I would explode before the end. Thanks for watching!
Shin, the look on your face from that first bite of the ramen is priceless 😅
My face could not hide the disappointment of bacon flavor in my ramen broth lol. Thanks for watching!
We enjoy the Silverton and MiCasa is our go-to for using dining credits. Great review Shin. Mabe I will run into you one of these days at Silverton. If so, I'm gonna need to get a selfie with you. Lol. ❤
Yes please say hi if you see me! Would be happy to take a picture with you. I'm there weekly. Thanks for watching Catherine!
I was just thinking about eating there last visit. I’ll have to make a point to stop, thanks!
I hope you like it when you try it! Thanks for watching!
First like..8 sec in!!! yeah 👍
I appreciate the early support Diana thank you!
Everything looks so Good!! Thanks Shin !
Tasty food at Mi Casa for sure! Thanks for watching!
Love watching your videos! When you get back to dining on the strip. Please do a review for Blossom at Aria.
I do have Blossom on the list but I'm pretty sure it's not until 2026 if I remember correctly. I think Jasmine and Genting Palace are the 2 high end Chinese restaurants for 2025. But it's coming for sure! Thanks for watching!
Omg! Try the Salmon at Mi casa next time. It’s soooo good I try and order something different when I go there but I just can’t. It’s amazing.
I will keep that in mind! I'm going to go more often with my comps so I'll get to try. Thanks for watching!
Whooooooooooooaaaa delish!!!!!
I really like it here. Nice spot. Thanks for watching David!
love silverton
Me too! This is my home casino and I love the vibe there. Thanks for watching!
Once again the Shinster nailed it
I'm happy you think so! Thanks for watching!
Chips & Salsa is my kryptonite!!!
Me too! I love chips and salsa. So dangerous at places like this because I won't have room for my meal when I'm done with all those chips lol. Thanks for watching!
Looks intriguing. Might be worth a go
I hope you like it if you try it! Thanks for watching!
Pretty cool items.
I think so too! Thanks for watching!
5:35 if you wanna skip to the food
Silverton is one of my home casinos too. Hope to see you there one day as I am a big fan of your videos. Silverton is ways generous with the food comps. I used to eat at Sundance all the time but sadly had to let them go due to multiple bad experiences with the service. No attempts at service recovery by restaurant management. Wuhu Noodle is always there for the win.
I'm sorry to hear you had so many bad experiences. I've had nothing but good times at Sundance. Wuhu Noodle is probably my favorite place to eat at Silverton but getting a seat inside is tough at the times I go. I'm usually playing free bet blackjack or the dragon link slots when I'm there so please say hello if you see me! Thanks for watching!
Thanks Shin looks like the place has a great vibe and good food. How far is it from the South end of the strip????
Taking I-15, you could get to Blue Diamond from Tropicana in about 5 minutes I'd say. Thanks for watching!
Never tried the Japanese menu because always ordering Mexican. I miss the Silverton!
I was the same way before this video lol. Thanks for watching!
Not too bad. I definitely would try the Mexican food. Flan will be a must. I'll pass on the ramen though.
I'd pass on the ramen also but the Mexican food here is solid. Flan was really good actually. Thanks for watching Jerry!
Weird mix but looks fun
Agreed on both points! Thanks for watching!
Eat here a few times with comps and it was just okay
I would probably never eat there. If I had to pay for it cause there are just way better mexican restaurants in town
Are you ever going to try
Juans Flaming Fajitas
If you go go to the Alliante location it is top notch
I almost eat exclusively at Silverton with my comps. The only place I spend money regularly is the Gelato outside of Sundance when they have the flavor that tastes like Ferrero Rocher chocolates lol. Thanks for watching!
I do have Juan's on the list but its a very long list lol. I was going to do the one in Henderson but I'll keep the one near Aliante in mind when I do the video
SHIN! Yay
Thank you for your support for me and the channel!
Tyvm and yqw buddy 😊
I liked the lamb chops there
I'm have to keep that in mind for next time I'm there. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin it’s like the last item on the entrees. It’s grilled with like 4 pieces served with black beans and rice.
The Mexican food looks a lot better than the Japanese food lol. Thanks for the video Shin!
It was objectively better for sure. Thanks for watching Jay!
If you don't mind me asking you.. what do you do for living? How can you afford all these?
Keep up the great work 👍
I'm a project manager at an art studio but the money comes from TH-cam. Every dollar that comes from the channel I just put back in to make more videos. I spend very little of my dayjob money on TH-cam nowadays. Thanks for watching!
Aloha Shin! Before you order a single thing, I'm over here going WTF?!?
Ok, now that you're eating, I can say the Mexican cuisine seems legit delicious. The Japanese side, I think the chef needs to edit themselves. Poke is Hawaiian, not Japanese. Sushi burrito is straight-up fusion. Truffle oil shouldn't be or doesn't need to be all over these Asian dishes. Mahalo for the big bites and big words!
Yeah, very unique little spot here. Not a lot of Mexican and Japanese places around. Thanks for watching Lu!
Elote is on the cob. Esquites is in the bowl!
I learned something today. Thanks for the info!
Have you ever tried the restaurant at Bass Pro Shop?
I'm going to be honest, did not even know they had a restaurant in there. I will go and check it out next time I'm there. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I am aparently wrong. Some Bass Pros do have restaurants but Las Vegas does not. waaaah
Great Review Shin ...Thank You !
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Does Mi Casa and Su Casa have separate/divided kitchens or kitchen staffs?
Yes, different kitchen and staff servicing the same dining space from my understanding. Thanks for watching!
That Seabass was quite under…
Not a perfect cook for sure. Thanks for watching!
Oh man Id say it’s way too dangerous for Shin to be at two restaurants at one!
True. I'm going to need a clone or a multiverse traversal tool lol. Thanks for watching!
Your voice sounds different. Are you ok? ❤
Did it? I'm fine, but I appreciate the concern! Thanks for watching!
You mentioned that it’s a school night. Are you a teacher?
Just an old man acting young. I should have said work night lol. Thanks for watching!
A mexican restaurant wanting to be japanese. The elotes and tacos with consomme looked great, while the rest of the mexican dishes looked passable. Even the salsas look homemade. On the other hand, the japanese food looked like someone got the idea from youtube. Good in concept, but bad in execution. Heavy on the carbs in this one...LOL
Yeah, I do think the Mexican fare is the better of the two but I will probably have those poke nachos again sometime and see if they can make them consistently well. Thanks for watching Chubbs!
❤❤❤👍👍👍
Thank you for watching!
If they stocked a tasty n/a tequila, they might have sold you a drink or two...
I'm not a big drinker in general. I smoke my vices more often than not. Thanks for watching!
🙂 NACHOS
Yes! Some tasty nachos too! Thanks for watching!
That ramen looked rough. Bacon in ramen is going to overpower everything else. The egg looked overdone. Cilantro is a pho condiment, not ramen. Broth looked instant and not fatty. Honestly, fusion restaurants like this generally don't do justice to any of the cuisines that they are trying to fuse.
Fusion recipes are definitely hit or miss with very little in-between. I liked the poke nachos here. But that ramen recipe needs some work in my book. But tastes are quite personal so there's probably someone out there who loves that ramen. Thanks for watching!
