Silverton is underrated and one of my favorite locals casinos! They have great players offers! About once a year they have free prime rib at Sundance if you coin-in enough on slots! I walked away with $700 and got 6 free prime rib dinners! Prime rib dinners are really good and nicely seasoned! Silverton also offers 50% off one entrée on Mondays for seniors. I got a $100 steak at their steakhouse for $50 once, but I usually use it at Sundance! Those biscuits and gravy looked delicious! Country/Sawmill gravy is so easy to make I'm surprised more diners don't have better B&G! Sundance is an excellent cafe!

I will be visiting Vegas in January and I will be staying in downtown for the first time ever, can you give me your top 5 recommendations for restaurants in the downtown area? I would especially like some dinner recommendations (including your pick for best steakhouse) and some good late night/breakfast recommendations. Thanks!
I can't say I've been to as many downtown spots as I have on the strip and the rest of the valley but here are some places I'd go: 1. Top of Binions Steakhouse - The view is great. The food is solid and prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate. I can only recommend this steakhouse because I haven't been to the others. But I hear Oscars and Barry's Downtown Prime are both excellent 2. Market Street Cafe - The oxtail soup in the late night menu is one of my favorite dishes in all of Vegas 3. 8 East - Asian Fusion food. It's good stuff 4. Carson's Kitchen - The shortrib and bacon jam spread are very tasty 5. Magnolia's at 4 Queens has a very cheap gumbo dish that I really liked but this is a 24 hour restaurant that's more of a casino diner so I'm not sure what level of place you're looking for I'll be back downtown in another month or so when construction for F1 picks up and it becomes more annoying to drive on the strip so I'll have some more knowledge then. I can confidently say they made solid food at the Sundance Grill. I actually eat at Mi Casa and WuHu Noodle also. I think the only restaurants I don't eat there often are the Twin Creeks steakhouse and the Johnny Rockets. It's all pretty good at Silverton for me. Thanks for watching!

Good evening, Shin! I remember advocating for you to always try biscuits and gravy everywhere you go and I am glad to see you followed that advice. It's my ALL-TIME comfort food. Here is another tip. When you order a burger, flip the script and ask for Swiss cheese, it gives the burger a totally different taste. And for a condiment try Heinz 57 sauce. with nothing else. Get ready to be mind blown!

The loss of the buffets across Vegas is a sad truth, especially the local casino buffets. If the Silverton ever brought back Seasons, I would try my best as a TH-camr to fill that place so I have a local buffet go to lol. Thanks for watching!

Its been a bit since I stopped by the Silverton and the one time I went to the Sundance Grill was pretty good. As I mentioned previously with other videos that has a Loco Moco on the menu that I'm very picky about Loco Mocos and that one looks pretty solid, but I might skip on the sautéed onions on it. That's funny that they do a better job with the Juniors cheesecake than the Juniors restaurant at Resorts World. Definitely need to stop by the Sundance Grill next time I go to Silverton.
I had a feeling the cheesecake was going to be better than the one I had at Resorts World lol. I thought the loco moco was solid here, but I'm not a connoisseur so I'd defer to your judgment. Thanks for watching Jerry!
I eat the majority of the leftovers over the course of 2-3 days after a video. So 2 days a week of making videos, 4-5 days of eating leftovers for the rest of the week usually. Good evening, Shin! I remember advocating for you to always try biscuits and gravy everywhere you go and I am glad to see you followed that advice. It's my ALL-TIME comfort food. Here is another tip. When you order a burger, flip the script and ask for Swiss cheese, it gives the burger a totally different taste. And for a condiment try Heinz 57 sauce. with nothing else. Get ready to be mind blown!

The loss of the buffets across Vegas is a sad truth, especially the local casino buffets. If the Silverton ever brought back Seasons, I would try my best as a TH-camr to fill that place so I have a local buffet go to lol. Thanks for watching!

Its been a bit since I stopped by the Silverton and the one time I went to the Sundance Grill was pretty good. As I mentioned previously with other videos that has a Loco Moco on the menu that I'm very picky about Loco Mocos and that one looks pretty solid, but I might skip on the sautéed onions on it. That's funny that they do a better job with the Juniors cheesecake than the Juniors restaurant at Resorts World. Definitely need to stop by the Sundance Grill next time I go to Silverton.

What do you do with all the left over food??
I eat the majority of the leftovers over the course of 2-3 days after a video. So 2 days a week of making videos, 4-5 days of eating leftovers for the rest of the week usually. If I throw in a buffet video, then obviously I have no leftovers that week and I'll get some small groceries. Thanks for watching!

There are a lot of people who find value in knowing what the menus currently show. If you try to look up prices and menus for Vegas restaurants on their websites, a lot of them don't list prices or the menu at all. This is a comprehensive video for anyone interested in visiting these locations. But being comprehensive, there may be some info you don't necessarily need. But that's okay, you can always fast forward.
