In 1939 the help never came, when Germany invaded Poland. In 1944 Germany was pushed back by Russia, but Russia stayed outside Warzaw and let Germany kill sooo many Polish people before retreating. Horrible. Poland has been through so much... Edit: Might be worth watching this performed live from Woodstock in Poland.
More to the point the Russian forces declared they were going to liberate Warzaw and asked for Polish support. I believe something like 3,000 Polish partisans joined up expecting to march in with the Russians only to be disarmed, arrested, and shipped off to prison camps. Russia threatened Western European and American forces against aiding Polish forces. So while the West never came the East actively betrayed them so that Poland would be easier to control after the war.
Every year at August 1 the city of Warsaw comes to a standstill for a minute at 5 pm. Nowadays it have also been a national holiday with different events taking place and the Kotwica flag, the sign of the uprising is hoisted. It's a Polish national flag with the symbol that looks like a P with an anchor added. At 5 air raid sirens goes off, emergency vehicles sound their sirens, cars blare their horns, bikers rush their engines, flares are ignited and church bells tolls. Afterwards they sing the national anthem.
I can't remember what all Sabaton you have done but please check out "No Bullets Fly" and "Nightwitches" it has to be the animated ones tho. Also "1916" hits me in the feels every time. Please check them out!
The nightwitches animated video is awesome and no bullets fly is such an incredible story the 1916 cover is haunting especially when you see ye old pub fly over at the end of the video escorted by the German fighter

Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱 I'm really happy to see you reacting this song, Warsaw uprising and all fight against German occupation is very important and very tragic thing in our history. Lyrics and video are very accurate in this, Germans doing horrible things in Poland. After that we were occupied by soviet Russia for almost 50 years and they wasn't better than Germans, often they were much worse. Hard times but now we are free and proud for our history. You should listen Winged Hussars, it's also Sabaton song, in this one Poland wins, and save Europe, and this is also true story, just like in Uprising. BTW, watch live version Uprising, Woodstock festival in Poland.
Wow I didnt know the Russians were that bad in Poland after the Germans, I know they were really bad against the Germans but ofc the Germans tried to take their land.
I've asked a million times in other videos for a reaction to En Livstid I Krig live WITH subtitels ON! THis is a must Pegasus, make it happen, i know you will love it!
Between 150,000 and 200,000 people died in the Warsaw Uprising. Most of them were civilians. Before the outbreak of World War II, Warsaw had 1.3 million inhabitants, so you know the scale of cruelty. Every year on August 1 at 5 p.m., sirens sound in all Polish cities and for a minute we honor the memory of those who died fighting for freedom.
I'd never even heard of Sabaton until recently when I discovered Dan Vasc and his Sabaton covers. As someone who has always liked history, I've really enjoyed hearing more of Sabaton's music since then. I'd not heard this one before, though. Dan Vasc had also mentioned once about the Brazilian soldiers who fiercely fought in Europe against the Nazis and were nicknamed the Cobras Fumantes (Smoking Snakes) because of the Brazilian saying that - you'd have a better chance of seeing a snake smoking a pipe, than Brazilians going to war. Apparently, they were a force to be reckoned with when they did fight, though. That was interesting history that I'd never heard before, as well. Dan did a cover of the Sabaton song about that, too. Smoking Snakes was the song. I had to go chk his cover to make sure of the name & who had done it.
Warszawo Walcz (Warsaw Fight) puts Warsaw in the Vocative Case. He’s giving the city itself an intimate, personal, almost human identity. Think the very soul of the city.
Excellent reaction. Sabaton has a way of making you sad, horrified, proud, defiant, and angry all at the same time. The allies willful betrayal of Poland, both in 1939 and 1944, lead to the deaths of thousands of Poles. The 1939 betrayal can be somewhat excused due to the logistical problems in supporting Poland, but Stalin's actions cannot be excused. he purposely deceived the Poles, knowing that the Germans would violently react and eliminate much of the opposition to communist control in Poland as well as reduce the German forces.
3:41 if I remember it correctly the resistance of Warsaw was punished with the execution of 100 randomly picked citizen for every killed nazi. That nazi officer are the actor Peter Stormare (Armagedon) a huge fan of Sabaton and their way of teaching history through their music.
It is Peter Stormare, and he's playing a specific one -- SS Obergruppenfuhrer Erich von dem Bach-Zelewski who was the Higher SS and Police Leader in Warsaw at the time.
Short recap: Poland regained independence after the 1st world war. Germany signed a non-agression pact with soviet Russia, including a secret part where they agreed to carve Poland up between themselfs. Great Britain and France guaranteed Polands independence. They made Poland call back their soldiers, right before the war started to "not anger the Germans", which complicated the defense, as most of the soldiers were in transit home, when the war started. When in 1939 Germany invaded, from the West, the North and the South, France and Great Britain did almost nothing. They declared war on Germany, but did not attack it. Some french troops crossed the border looked around and went home. Some british planes dropped leaflets on Germany. Even back then it was called the phony war by the papers in France and the UK, because they did not fight. When it was clear that Poland would not be able to stop the Germans, the Soviets attacked Poland from the East, according to the secret agreement with Germany. Cutting off any hope of the long term plan Poland had put together, to retreat into the mountains in the South-East and make a last stand there. There were two uprsings in Warsaw. The first one was the ghetto uprsing in 1943 a desperate last ditch fight, because the ghettos were beeing liquidated. It was not a serious try to liberate the ghetto, but more of a gesture to show that Jews did not go quietly into the extermination camps. Almost 60k Jews were killed, either in the fighting, mostly from smoke inhalation or burned to death, or they were captured and send to extermination camps. The song is about the 1944 uprsing. The polish home army planned a coordinated uprisings in all major cities in Poland, to help the Allies with the war effort and try to liberate themselfs, so they would have better chances to stay independent from the Soviets after the war. When the russian army reached Warsaw and fighting started in the outskirts of the city, which could be heared in the city propper, the polish home army decided to help the soviet push by starting the uprising early. They ment to slow down supplies of german troops into the fierce fighting outside the city. Which it did. It also counted on the soviet army to link up with the polish home army and provide them with a beachhead over the Vistula river. The first days did not got as well as planned. They captured some arms and even a few tanks, but failed to link up all areas. They had 2.5k guns vs. around 15-25k Germans under arms at the start. The Germans reacted harshly. The units sent in were some of the worst in the german arsenal, according to discipline. They raped and killed so many civilians, that the Nazies had to execute some of their own, to keep it down and sent in additional elite units. The uprising was ment to last a week, maybe ten days, untill the Soviets crossed the river. It lasted 63 days. In all that time, the Soviets set up camp right outside and watched. The western allies tried to fly in some supplies, but they had to fly all the way from Italy, drop their cargo and fly back. Most of the limited supplies landed in german occupied parts of the city. The Soviets did not allow the use of their landing strips to supply Warsaw, despite having american planes and pilots already there. They did not support the Poles with any artillery or air support, except for a few attacks in the end, when western pressure got too harsh. Parts of the soviet Polish First Army, which was fighting on the side of the Russians crossed the Vistula, against orders and tried to link up with the uprising, but without support from the other soviet units, especially no artillery support had to cross back, with heavy losses both times. There are no exact numbers, but about 15k polish fighters died and annother 15k were taken prisoner, many of whom would not survive the war in the camps. The soviet Polish First army lost about 5k, mainly wounded, crossing the river twice, with no cover or support. Around 200k civilians were killed and 700k deported. Hitler gave the order to level the city of Warsaw. The Germans used fire with so called "Brandkommandos" and loads of explosives to do just that. They targeted libraries especailly to make sure the Polish culture would ceased to exist. All while the Soviets were sitting on the other side of the Vistula river doing nothing. When the Soviets did start moving the german defense around the city collapsed in less then two days. A polish writer coined the phrase of "shooting with diamonds" for the uprising, as Poland lost their youngest and brightest in it, many of the fighters literally beeing kids. They are still bitter about no real help arriving from the West and the East. Other cities did also start uprisings later, but the Germans were better prepared for them and quickly dealt with them, when the time came. Many Soviet and Russian propagandists claim there was no way the Soviets could have had helped, but the limited documentation of the NKWD (soviet secret police) released in the 1990' shows that not to be true, at all. When polish home army scouts crossed over the Vistula River to make contact with Red Army units, they were tortured and executed, according to the NKWD documents. The soviet Polish First Army was threatened with reprisals on their families, if they did not cross back to soviet lines and their leader was threatened to be replaced, for allowing the crossing in the first place. There was also the personal demand of Stalin to not allow any western Allied planes to fly over Poland, using soviet controlled landing strips. In the Yalta conference the western allies basically sold Poland to Stalin, in exchange for the Soviet Union to join in the War against Japan, after Germany was dealt with. Appeasment at it's finest. PS. For comparison. The US lost 2% of their population in the civil war, the bloodiest war in US history percentage wise. Poland lost more than 16% of the population in the 2nd world war and 48% of it's territory.
Poland never surrendered to the Germans but kept fighting them in France, and in England, and even throughout occupied Poland. After the Uprising, Hitler was so angry he ordered Warsaw to be flattened. After the war, on their own, the Poles rebuilt the Old Town exactly as it looked before the war.
There is a great Polish film that tackles this subject. Miasto 44. Great film. Some of the most heroic fighters who fought in the ghetto were teenagers. There is a statue dedicated to them. The Zoska Storm Battalion was one of these units made up mostly of Boy Scouts.
People calling for a new civil war in America have no idea what they're actually asking for. It wouldn't be north versus south or even red state versus blue state, America isn't divided like that. It would be neighbor versus neighbor. If you live in an apartment then you had better hope the majority of people in there are on your side otherwise you're going to be either a prisoner, homeless or dead. Battles aren't going to take place on fields like it's the 1800s, it's going to take place in towns and cities right outside your front door and nowhere will be safe. We'd go from a world super power to a third world country begging other countries for aid pretty quickly. No sane person, no matter what way they lean politically should want that.
You are right. The blithe comments, that war is inevitable, echo the bragging of the kings that pulled innocent people into death in WWI. Anyone thinking war is easy should read The Guns of August, how the pride of Kings (royals who sat in nice places getting drunk on champagne, etc.) caused millions and millions of people to die horrible deaths. The Douaumont Ossuary by Verdun is a terrible reminder of the result of such royal bragging and squabbling amongst Queen Victoria's grand kids. Even the Kaiser, when war was on his door step, got cold feet and wanted to stop the war, but by then he was no longer calling the shots.
True, and imagine if someone got hold of the nuclear weapons or non-soldiers knew how to pilot jets and drive tanks, it would destroy America and America would be rebuilding I think at least 100 years
Yeah, and talking about a civil war below the Warsaw uprising video is just tragic. It was a colossal failure. It led to so many civilian deaths and an almost full destruction of the city. It's a lesson on what no to do, sadly.
The amazing Sabaton...always so much behind each of their writings....portrayed very accurately in song. we in UK at school were taught so much of the History of the War in the 50's and 60's.. not watered down for the fact we were just kids....My first schoolfriend at age 5 was a young Polish girl called Wanda, this was back in '57 so we didn't learn just from books, but from people that were actually there a few short years before.. In '67 I was working with former servicemen, RAF, Royal Navy and Armed Forces, former prisoners of war that had gone through the war and wore their scars with Pride.. they kept all of the true horrors to themselves.. I remember each one of them to this day. My love of History comes from having been born less than 10 years after the war ended...
I recommend the ''Sabaton History'' Channel, they go in to great detail with explanations of both history and behind the scenes of each song. would be a great fun to see you reacting and lerning along with us 😃.
The Red Army (Soviet Union) was within marching distance of Warsaw when the uprising occurred. Instead of marching to assist, they stopped. They let the Poles be massacred in their capital. Then they swooped in after the war and kept those Poles under oppression until the 90s
Check the official live version, recorded at a festival in Poland. When I say that Joakim sings "Warszawo, walcz" and an ad-lib in polish and the crowd goes bananas, I mean that as in capital B, beyond bonkers bananas. You're not polish right now, but you will be after watching that video.
I'd seriously recommend even if it's on your own time diving into the Sabaton History yt channel where they go into the background of the songs it could be a good double video reaction sort of thing.
Sabaton has SPECTACULAR videos. They spare no time and expense to make them great. Many of their live performances are available on YT - check out some of their numbers. The live version of "En Livstid i Krig" is beautiful and moving. Watch with English subtitles
The Warsaw Uprising started at 5PM on August 1st, 1944. This is also known as "W Hour". The Polish Home Army and resistance fighters from all over Poland rose up to their occupiers and said "NO MORE!"
The very beginning of the music video - such writings on the walls were punishable by death. The German commander who crossed out 10 and entered 100 changed the number of civilians to be executed for 1 killed German. The beginning of the music video is the so-called round-up or "catching". The Germans closed the street and arrested everyone who found themselves on it. Regardless of gender or age. People from such actions were sent directly to labor or concentration camps. They were sent to Gestapo prisons on Szucha Avenue or to Pawiak (most of them never left alive) for interrogations. Or as it was shown, they were killed immediately.
Thanks for the reaction. Warsaw Uprising was one of bloodiest and ugliest battles of WW2. As for learning history, check TimeGhost History channel. Those guys are great in explaining not only "what happened when", but also "why" and "how" did it happen.
Sabaton is AMAZING!!! Their songs are History to metal music! I get to see them May 7th & I can't wait! Tons of great songs. 1916 & The Final Solution will kick you in the chest. Primo Victoria, Bismarck, Carolus Rex, Nightwitches, The Red Baron & Christmas Truce are so good. I can't wait for you to check out more.
Chipping in on recommendations on No Bullets Fly (animated story version), Christmas Truce and 1916. All Sabaton songs speak in one way or another of the horrors of war, and what people are capable of when they fight for what they believe in. These three songs though, give another perspective. The first two show that regardless of the side you fight for, we are all still human, and can find common ground despite being on opposite sides of a conflict. And the third... Well... It just show you the senselessness of war. 1916 is a Motörhead cover. Lemmy wrote it and both versions deserves a listen.
And thanks to the Polish winged hussars under John III Sobieski, Vienna, which was besieged by the Ottoman Empire in 1683, was saved and accordingly, Europe. And this battle was also put into a song by Sabaton : " Winged Hussars "
If you do Sabaton - 40:1 .. please do the live version from Woodstock 2012. It's also about Polish history and the festival was held just outside Warsaw.
all of their music is military history based they also have a history channel sabaton history other songs to checkout bismark no bullets fly screaming eagles devil dogs (historical version) primo victoria ..... for this song and bismark they had help from a small video game company you might have played their games .. they make world of warships and world of tanks they helped sabaton with the video production for both songs and gave the band their own premium tank you can play
The uprising lasted 63 days. On average, more people were killed each day than in New York on September 11. The Soviets were stationed close to the Warsaw suburbs but did not help. They preferred the uprising to be crushed to make it easier to subdue Poland later. In retaliation, 200,000 civilians were killed by Germans, and the city was systematically razed to the ground, block by block. After the war the city was reconstructed based on paintings.
Poland was first victim of German Nazi agresor 1 september 1939. During 6 years occupated Polish make a diversion against German ocupant army.
WWII started 1st September 1939 when Germany attacked Poland. In 1918 Poland was newly reemerged country after 123 years of partitions and occupation of Germany, Austria and Russia. So 20 years later we were again main battle ground of WWII. This song is really hard for my husband.. He's British and feels great shame over the fact that the British didn't help Poland in this. WW2 is still quite raw for him as he has family still alive today that had to flee due to their homes being destroyed by the Nazis. When he listens to this song he says "I'm sorry" to himself 😔
Warsaw was an incredible display of what will power and the resistance that came from the polish is what makes them legends if France and Britain actually helped when they attacked Germany would’ve been crushed but they let the Germans rest reorganize and ultimately destroy the French one of histories biggest war blunder
As an American (like me), listen to Sabaton WW1 songs: "The Lost Battalion" "Devil Dogs" "82nd All the Way" & "Hellfighters." American kids learn next to nothing abt the USA in WW1.

I love that I came to this channel looking for Linkin Park but kept getting recommended reactions to Sabaton. Hope I one day come across your reaction to their cover of 1916 by Motorhead 1916 written by Lemmy was absolutely heartbreaking
Dude, definetly check out Sabaton song (specially the animted versions): No Bullets Fly, Lady OF The Dark and Night Witches! Specially The Night Witches - The USSR 588 Night Bombardment Squadron, made solely out of female pilots, flying outdated, slow plywood and canvas planes, putting their lives at stake to get riddled by bullets or burn to ash. In strike shutting down their engines, casting their explosive spells, delivering silent, swooping, windyelling, vexing death from above, harassing the enemy to the bone every night.
You should watch w clip from a Woodstock festival. It's a polish rock festival. Sabaton was on Woodstock in 2012. The crowd giving enourmous energy because it's about Polish history. About our grandparents! We regained inedepdence in 1918 (Germany, Russia and Austria took our lands in 1795) after 123 years without Poland. 20 years passed and we had to fight against german nazis for independence again. WWII starting when nazis attacked a Westerplate in September 1939. Warsaw uprising (1944) was a largest uprising in a history but we lose. After that uprising soviet's beat a nazis and controlled our country till 1989 because West sold us for it's own freedom . When I was young I talked to my grandfather who fought against the soviets. That was crazy! But finally we won! We have our Poland and our capital Warsaw which it's beautiful. And that's why we're fucking proud and crazy! POLAND!!!
Since you mentioned children - a little fun fact - there's a "Little Insurrectionist" statue in the Old Town in Warsaw commemorating children who fought and died in Warsaw Uprising.
I also like Sabaton's En Livstid i Krig. It's actually better in the original language, Swedish, but put the English subtitles on. You should listen to the version played in Gothenburg as part of the Great Tour. I would describe the song as kind of a power ballad. It's both powerful and moving.
The Warsaw Uprising was the single largest civilian uprising in history. For two months, from August 1st to October 2nd the Polish people fought across the streets of Warsaw for their freedom. They were expecting help from the Russian army who was approaching the city but they stopped outside of it and waited for the uprising to be crushed because Stalin didn't want those same people uprising against him. Allied planes from the RAF dropped supplies across the city for the rebels. Despite fierce resistance they lost to their Nazi occupiers and in retaliation huge numbers of Polish civilians, even ones who had nothing to do with the uprising, were massacred in the streets. 80-90% of Warsaw was decimated as a result of the fighting and retaliation.
I know of no other nationality more passionate about their history than Polish people. Even their national anthem is condeming peoples that invaded them and did them wrong.
There were two uprisings against the Nazis in Warsaw during World War 2. The Ghetto Uprising of 1943 in the Jewish neighborhoods and the general citywide uprising a year later, which included active participation of such Jews as survived the 43 insurrection.
you are a rapper and a modern day poet, and now that your an adult and well matured, I highly suggest you start to dig into history and learn more about it. I'd love to see what you could create with your outlook

hi, just seen that your are reacting to sabaton. You should react to 'To Hell And Back' by sabaton, a rather unique and fun piece, and my favourite song :).
Agree; the Polish Woodstock performance is spectacular, with maybe 1,000,000 in the audience singing along with Uprising.
Right after the war CCCP took Poland. They never had a break.
You should react to the live version in Poland. It's also very emotional.
Yes, the 2012 concert I think? Very soul stirring.
My Grandmother was from Poland, she lost MANY family members in the Warsaw Ghetto. More Americans need to learn this history!

Love this song and band but seeing the footage of Woodstock Poland when sabaton played this is on another level
Love this song and this band...they definitely bring history into the light through their music
Man sabaton does it like no other! Can't wait for the next one. I'll be here for them all!
The 1939 betrayal can be somewhat excused due to the logistical problems in supporting Poland, but Stalin's actions cannot be excused. he purposely deceived the Poles, knowing that the Germans would violently react and eliminate much of the opposition to communist control in Poland as well as reduce the German forces.
all of their songs are based in history. thats part of what made their songs so amazing
Short recap:
Poland regained independence after the 1st world war.
Thank you for providing all these heartbreaking details.
Miasto 44. Great film. Some of the most heroic fighters who fought
in the ghetto were teenagers. There is a statue dedicated to them. The Zoska Storm Battalion was one of these units made
up mostly of Boy Scouts.
A great one. Another great one by Sabaton is the Night Witches, which is about a Russian squadron of bomber pilots who were all young women (WW2).
You should check out the Sabaton History Channel. They work with historians to tell more of the story behind the songs.
SABATON HELL YEAH
I recommend the ''Sabaton History'' Channel, they go in to great detail with explanations of both history and behind the scenes of each song. would be a great fun to see you reacting and lerning along with us 😃.
He reacts to song and chooses at randoom. So he would never react to that unfortunetely.
Nice to see this on Big Reactors!! 😊❤ Szacunek!! / Respect!!!
The Red Army (Soviet Union) was within marching distance of Warsaw when the uprising occurred. Instead of marching to assist, they stopped. They let the Poles be massacred in their capital. Then they swooped in after the war and kept those Poles under oppression until the 90s
They also executed many of the polish resistance fighters that escaped in order to prevent them from fighting against the soviets.
I have 2 ancestors who were brothers who fought in the Warsaw resistance and in the defence of Warsaw depicted in the sabaton song 40:1
Welcome to the Sabaton army! You should watch Christmas Truce or Bismarck or Steel Commanders or No Bullets Fly or Night Witches.
I'd seriously recommend even if it's on your own time diving into the Sabaton History yt channel where they go into the background of the songs it could be a good double video reaction sort of thing.
Warszawo Walcz!
Greetings from a Legia Warszawa fan from Sweden and greetings from the Most Champions and the reigning champions of Sweden, Malmö FF.
oh btw im on me 57th year so back in the day no internet no mobilephones and it was awsome
Some of my favourite Sabaton songs would probably be "The Price of a Mile", "Stalingrad", and "Christmas Truce"
You need to react to sabaton history channel this one is pretty heartbreaking how they were betrayed by the allies over and over again during the war
Sabaton has a song about the Russians fighting the Nazis as well. “Defense of Moscow”, it slaps hard too.
What do you know about soldiers from Poland who were fighting in Alamo? And soldiers from Poland in Texas Army which cought gen. Anna Maria?
And thanks to the Polish winged hussars under John III Sobieski, Vienna, which was besieged by the Ottoman Empire in 1683, was saved and accordingly, Europe.
And this battle was also put into a song by Sabaton : " Winged Hussars "
BP, even if you don't react to it, you should check out the live version when Sabaton played this song in Warsaw!
Come next December, you should do yourself a favour and watch Sabatons Christmas truce. Even if you don't react to it. You will thank yourself.
Absolutely!
If you do Sabaton - 40:1 .. please do the live version from Woodstock 2012. It's also about Polish history and the festival was held just outside Warsaw.
Sabaton does alot of military music on things that made a huge impact on the world. amazing band

Song is about Warsaw (captol of Poland) uprising 1944 when Sowiet Army goes on polish terytory going to Berlin. They was close but don't help citizen of fighting Warsaw.
WWII started 1st September 1939 when Germany attacked Poland. In 1918 Poland was newly reemerged country after 123 years of partitions and occupation of Germany, Austria and Russia. So 20 years later we were again main battle ground of WWII. Poland was weak country at the time as you can imagine (still not fully consolidated by partitions), but it was the only country who never surrended, never had official Nazi groups cooperating with Germans. If you are interested in history you can have a look at the link below.
I cannot add link apparently but, whoever is interested can find IPNtv The Unconquered. Its been read by Sean Bean. Short 5min story with war plot 😉

Germaine’s Vietnam Warsaw and all of the Yugoslavian territory
OOOOHHHHH YESSSS. If you get more into Sabaton, definitely give "To Hell and Back", "No Bullets Fly", and their cover of "For Whom the Bell Tolls."
As an American (like me), listen to Sabaton WW1 songs: "The Lost Battalion" "Devil Dogs" "82nd All the Way" & "Hellfighters." American kids learn next to nothing abt the USA in WW1.
My great grandfather joined the medical Corp in Canada before the USA joined WWI. He died in Belgium and was buried in the memorial cemetery near Brussels. I agree ppl need to learn more about history.
@@karensilvera6694 Hats off to your Great Grand Dad. Team Canada were major contributors to both WW1 & WW2. The Canadian Army was amazing in both wars.
I get what you are saying. Like, people believed they could change things. We don't really anymore. Anyway.. thanks for the video!
Wars are worst thing that can happen but they also server a purpose of palet cleanser when it comes to humanity , peoples emotions and how people think and treat each other
No bullets fly. Really good.
Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
I'm 40 years old and I cry watching this. I"m Polish.
It was the largest uprising in the history of the world. The insurgents lost, but they built the spirit of the nation, which is why Poles overthrew communism.
and Stalin waited to Germans to destroy the resistance so there would be none when it would fall to soviets. Kinda clever and ruthless.
I love that I came to this channel looking for Linkin Park but kept getting recommended reactions to Sabaton. Hope I one day come across your reaction to their cover of 1916 by Motorhead
1916 written by Lemmy was absolutely heartbreaking
You are going to love Fields of Verdun
Dude, definetly check out Sabaton song (specially the animted versions): No Bullets Fly, Lady OF The Dark and Night Witches!
Specially The Night Witches - The USSR 588 Night Bombardment Squadron, made solely out of female pilots, flying outdated, slow plywood and canvas planes, putting their lives at stake to get riddled by bullets or burn to ash.
In strike shutting down their engines, casting their explosive spells, delivering silent, swooping, windyelling, vexing death from above, harassing the enemy to the bone every night.
The placement of that horn at the beginning killed me 💀
You should watch w clip from a Woodstock festival.
You should've done a reaction to Live from Woodstock! That one is powerful!
More Sabaton reactons!!
War Saw...my city ❤
I also like Sabaton's En Livstid i Krig. It's actually better in the original language, Swedish, but put the English subtitles on. You should listen to the version played in Gothenburg as part of the Great Tour. I would describe the song as kind of a power ballad. It's both powerful and moving.
This year 01.08 will be the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, Legia Warsaw is a military club, you will see what they will do for the setting.
Sabaton recently made a Cover Version of Motörhead´s "1916"... just a little hint ;)
Hope Sabaton make songs about wars that usa have started after ww2
U must see Sabaton concert in Poland in 2012 and video unconcerd.
You should pick your most sensitive friend, and show them the hole animated video to there song "No bullets fly"
They might get some tears running in the end. Just a great story.
Welcome to the Sabaton Army. You're another history nerd in the making now.
Funny i was only looking yesterday to see if you'd done anymore Sabaton. There's so many top tunes & you'll learn something from every song. I'd also suggest watching some fan made videos. ASCotter has done some good ones..
This is hard to see but important! Ones again!! Now we have Russia invaded Ukraine, it feels world war 3 is around the corner. I never thought something like this could happen again. My heart goes to Ukraine 🇺🇦. Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
Higly recommend reacting to 40:1 by Sabaton. History of the song will left you speechless.
hi, just seen that your are reacting to sabaton. You should react to 'To Hell And Back' by sabaton, a rather unique and fun piece, and my favourite song :).
Cześć i chwała Bohaterom
