Great tips. I like the keeping your balance idea, which is after all what we're doing. One thing I like to do is move the hips very slightly over a period of a few frames and also rotate the spine and head a bit. But then add an break down with built in overlap. Then you get a nice little sway for not many keyframes.
For tv yeah this is fine, for feature and vfx there’s a ton of other small tweaks and subtle rotations and counter rotations and illusions of breathing a supervisor will want to see
BAAAADEERRRRRRRRRRRRR~~~~~~!!!! Oh my gosh ☺️ All my BlueZoo memories just came rushing back 😂 I was just looking for supplementary materials for my students ( yes is teach a class in basics of 3D animation now, can you believe it?) and stumbled upon this ♥️ I knew about your Anim dojo project, I just hadn’t realised it was on TH-cam. Nice. Not sure you remember me, I came as a freshling junior onto the GoJetters team and basically drowned because I couldn’t keep up hahaha aw man those were rough times for me. I learned so much though and despite having been stressed out of my mind, I basically only have fond memories of bluezoo and the whole gojetters team. I’m still in sporadic contact with a few of them. ☺️ It’s been a long time now, and I’ve come a long way, and I don’t know if I ever thanked you for always being kind, yet giving it to me straight, and trying to find time to help me out a bit, no matter how busy you were. Thank you. You were awesome. I’m happy to have stumbled on this channel I bet I’ll find a lot of excellent supplementary materials to send to my own fledglings ☺️ All the best, my friend ☺️
I just walk or something to test this out and notice my upper body continues to slightly move forward once I stop which you displayed perfectly. But for some reason when I run and stop my body leans backwards a lot. Anyways this an awesome tutorial thank u!
