    Just keep going, never mind the negative opposition people. Surely, the next generation Filipinos will benefit and will be proud of this government project.

      Opposition is good and it’s part of democracy. That kind of big ticket project involves public trust and public money. Without anyone scrutinizing those in authority will always, always subject to abuse of power and corruption. Get used to it.

    • @jennybasa5817
      @jennybasa5817 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Because they would rather keep the money in their "pockets". Say what u will but I like seeing the development n improvement of PH(in this case Manila) that is truthfully long overdue. I wouldn't b surprised if those who oppose drive their own vehicles or have their own private chauffers... who cares about d working class people who commute everyday n get stranded when typhoons strike right? Hopefully when the transport system improves as a whole, traffic will drastically improve too because traffic in Manila is beyond ridiculous. If we want the country to progress, we have to start somewhere. We can't just stay stagnant and hope for better things to come without doing anything. Sure no government is perfect but I prefer the one who I think is the lesser evil and who I think has real patriotism n Filipino pride!

      I absolutely hate Duterte's macho way of leadership and incompetence when it comes to public relations, his rather backwards conservative ideals, but when it comes to funding infrastructure projects, he's probably the closest to actually delivering. This commuter and automobile traffic congestion is setting the whole country back big time, specially in Metro Manila, which is the economic capital.

    • @mistercool507
      @mistercool507 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@karu6111 I agree. It just needs proper oversight especially if it’s a Chinese project with Chinese workers. If you’ll recall, the PNoy administration was very cautious the first 2 years because of GMA’s wanton corruption. The procurement and bidding process were taken cared of first so the next 4 years became infrastructure years which some are still ongoing to this day. Duterte adds more so it’s a win-win for the public. Politicians come and go but the infrastructures stay.

    Just my two cents, I feel like the Philippines should invest more in a railway system just like Japan. Because the country has poor urban planning that Filipinos rely too much on private vehicles to get around. There are too many vehicles in the Metro which means heavy traffic and pollution. Not too mention the accidents one can get into. I also like the fact that Japan has such strict rules for owning vehicles. I think if it was implemented here in the Philippines, it would discourage those who want to buy vehicles just for "show".

      hindi mo na comprehend? walang ginawa si duterte. simple as that. hindi mo ba nakita na si pnoy aquino admin ang nag pa bid ppp po yan hindi build build build. isa pa sa panahon lang ni duterte nasimulan kasi ginawan ng plan at study ang pag construct. in short minana nya lang. now anu na ang ipamana ni duterte na project sa sunod na pangulo, diba wala? puro problema lang ang ipamana nya. gising na po kayo sa panggagantso sa inyo ni Duterte.

    • @alyssal8464
      @alyssal8464 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@marquisyt1983 yes approved before his term but was never really prioritized. only when the BBB took over it became a priority project and really took off. typical of previous admin to start ground breaking but would just complete insignificant percentage of the project. like what happened to skyway stage 3. groundbreaking was done last 2014 pa but after 3 years only 11% complete. only when it was incorporated under BBB that the project was finished after less than 4 years.
      you see, initiating a project is one thing. but having the political will to continue and eventually finish it is another.

    MRT's being planned for the whole metro manila areas, with subways. Projects now in progress that will reach even northern Luzon and south to the Bicol region. President of Ph now on its build, build, build projects spending more and more with private sectors. Not only Luzon, it spells to the Visayas and Mindanao. Airports construction in big provinces, land and sea terminals. Modernizing buses with hybrids and fastcrafts and cargo vessels all over Ph. Cebu is the most viable as this is a hub for tourist. Cebu been visited frequently for shopping, business and entertainment, tourist from east and west countries. Because these are big projects, for rehabilitations of towns, provinces and cities. There is no stopping in building infrastacture and even housings for poor, middle income and even for rich. Construction is everywhere in simultaneous with the Economic Zones that will be opened soon for the production plants.

    It was not delayed because of funding. This Project started in 2009 (they even started digging the foundation in EDSA which was still there covered with metal plate in the center island). But because of 2010 Election the Arroyo Government just stop the project so they can give way for the next Government to continue the project. BUT the Aquino government completely shut down the Project. And give the Common Station in EDSA to the AYALA (Trinoma). Which was already been paid by HENRY SY (SM). So the Reason for this project delay is because of the AQUINO GOVERNMENT.

    Thank you to "US" Taxpayers!!! Not the United States but US taxpayers.😊😁 We are very thankful because of the taxes we paid for us to build many infrustructures that would benifit the Filipinos.. I don't thank the politicians because this is from the pocket of the taxpayers NOT from the pocket if the politicians.. some of them are corrupt politicians!✌✌✌
    May God bless the Philippines.❤🇵🇭🙏🙏🙏

      @@boypalanyag2325 aba putang ina to ah. Discriminate nang discriminate sa bisaya hahahahaha utak talangka ka ba? ulol many bisaya people are more knowledgeable than you and you think you're the best? A person isn't measured or judged because of his/her race or ethnicity. It's 2021 already. You're way behinddd. Saying these things to a bisaya is like being racist to a black person. That's why our country remains divided, it's because of racist people like youuu lol. Your mentality is basically 1900's. Maybe you need to travel back in timeee and maybe in that way you can fit in with a shit society just like the shit character that you have!
