"Wazzup N"-most Filipinos don't really know what that word truly means. Many think it just means "Homie" or "Brother." So if someone calls you that in the Philippines, don't get upset right away. Hahaha!
The N word dont carry much weight in the Philippines as it does in western countries. Mostly because the word was primarily introduced by American rap and hip-hop. So if anyone is offended, blame the rappers for proliferating the use
It's actually safer to be a foreigner in those areas. Thugs know that if they mess with a foreigner, police are obligated to dig deeper and get all up in their business more than usual. It's the city's way of saving face in a diplomatic issue. So criminal elements prefer to stay clear. That said, it's never as bad as some people paint it to be. You will find some of the most chill and welcoming people in these areas. As for the N word, a lot of Pinoy youth use it because it's what they hear from music and their favorite US celebrities. To them, they think it's nothing but a cool word people call each other. They are unaware of its history. Needless to say, none of them say it with hate or prejudice in their hearts.

@@floof6896 we're talking most culturally similar to African-Americans. And the Philippines has native black people too- 30 tribes of them across the Philippines. Theyre not nearly as black as the Sentinelese, but thats because they've been mixing with brown Filipinos for thousands of years. but a lot of them still look black
the true or original colors of the filipinos are brown, pero nahaluan na ng mga ibang lahi kaya nagkaron ng mestisa mestiso, tsinoy tsinay, at black filipinos.
@@darkempath2594 are you sure? negritos and austronesian make up majority of filipinos. negritos came to the philippines way before the austronesians. austronesians are brown in color, but negritos are darker skinned. negritos and austronesians bred together which makes up most filipinos today, but how are you sure that filipinos were "originally" brown? whats your exact understanding of filipino
Your Solid bro. I cant tell you aint no pinoy baiter. We pinoys love black folks. Im dual citizen from Los Angeles.
Nahhh no baiter, just tryna find good vibes and energy. Thanks for watching bro!
13:50 "why'd you leave bro?!" Got me dying. 🤣
Lmaooo he left with the quickness
@@iamflyrellLOL just got finessed by zombies. 🤣
He can't rage quit. He is on camera. 😂
thank you for visiting Philippines.. got alot of Filipinos in the states that havent been back ever since
Fun fact! The term boondocks came from the Filipino word "bundok" which means mountain, this is because mountainous communities are rural and isolated
The boondocks actually came from actual suburbs in Chicago
The cinematography is AMAZING
Thank you thank you!!!
proud of you bro, for reading between the lines and taking the N* word positively
can't blame the folks here, since the N* word is very much exposed in the media esp. in the music scene as if its a very OK word to use
welcome to the barrio kapatid/bro
Yeah of course!
This is what Authentic Philippines looks like, not those fancy beaches and big cities
Edit: what I meant by this is foreigners tend to go to the popular spots meant for TOURISTS or somewhat high end paces, and not these places where majority of us live (Provinces, Barrios, etc.)and how it really is for the rest of us.
Apologies for not including it on my first comment.
we got people fighting in the philippines, normal filipino behavior 👍
Wait isn't this from a big city too? lol
So what you're basically saying is filipinos outside this city or barangay a not authentic filipino?
This is part of.manila it's a huge city.
This is authentic?! Lmao Tanga! How about going to the Province and you’ll see what authentic looks like lol
@@Denden-mx9gl oh sorry probably an oversight in my part, esp sa wording. What i meant was, Foreigners always went to the tourist spots, not the actual places where actual locals really lived.
This is my Dawg! I love your approached Chris. showing THE REAL lifestyle of Philippines not with other vlogger juicing up Filo social media.Respect. New subscribe here.

as a filipino i apologized in behalf of my fellow countrymen for calling you the N word, as most of us are not familiar about the history behind that word. salute you for being sport.
im smiling while watching this.
I’m pretty sure he knew and he’s just cultured
And he definitely didn’t mean it in a racist way. The N word is sometimes used as a slang greeting
Bro we Filipinos are slaves too, our ancestors became slaves by the Spaniards they call us "INDIOS".
@@artikulouno5754 what up my indio
@@artikulouno5754 that doesn't mean we get to say it tho. And it's not like we get any benefits from using the word.
It's a sign of respect here, we idolize black culture and relate to the struggle. Thats why the ones using that word are usually wearing jerseys and fitted caps. ✊🏿✊🏾
beautiful scene you made with that intro, reminded me of my hometown as GTA haha!! props brotha. love from NY
Shoutout NY, thanks bro!
This is underated, this channel needs more love 🤙🏽
Thanks for the support!
When they call you the n word it's from watching too much Hollywood movies.

lot of people in manila (specially) use the n word because they're into rap and hip hop culture. they grew up watching and listening to it. there's no malice behind it
Im Filipino Canadian. I was introduced to this LAN gaming by my Korean bud back here in Canada back in 1999' I think. Playing the original Counter Strike. The Koreans called the place PC Bangs ! . There would be like 20 PCs and we would do like 5 hour CS sessions. We would also sneak alcohol in the place and have Splifs breaks outside. The place also sold Korean Microwave noodle food and other fast food 😆😁
I have also been to a Korean PC Bang as well! The Filipino one doesn't quite match the standards but its nice seeing somewhere kids can game and chill for a good price
as a canadian filipino, I wanna visit the Philippines again. I love your videos bro I show this to my friends who are interested to travel to Philippines. keep up the tour vlogs bro
Thanks for the support!
I'm not a filipino but I really enjoyed watching your videos nakakatuwa kasi kayo panoorin.

There’s actually a lot of sub cities within manila. You went to the hood. There’s upperclass and uppermiddle class, You have to check out the nice neighborhoods. But i can tolerate that hood than the hood in US. 😅
I went to the nice neighborhood but I found it boring 😂 its more fun in the hood lol
@@iamflyrell For sure, just wanted to make sure people who sees your videos won’t think Philippines is just that. 😅

Nah future gangsters in the making💀
Oh, Gang Sign! 🤣 those are my guys lol
😭😭Yea ngl I think those babies at 9:34 were shouting out their gang. It tripped me up because they were so young, but then I remembered that kids get jumped in pretty young.
That’s just how some of them stay safe and form connections in difficult neighborhoods 🥲
Its just how much african american culture influenced the nation
Its an honor to be an Afro American in the Philippines lol
Nice content, You won the hearts of Pinoy ❤ through local interaction. stay safe
