He actually did it. He beat Hades the video game by Supergiant Video Games.

I actually know what was wrong with stubborn roots! Its a really weird quirk of the tooth. If you use the lucky tooth DD and then replenish that DD slot with athena or kiss of styx, you get a permanent DD that doesn't go away when taking off the keepsake, but the visual for it does. Stubborn roots was off the whole time, because hael had an invisible (but working) DD.
I learned this through experience running max routine inspection, it took several runs of doing this to fully figure it out.
Isn't it Lasting Consequenses -100%? Or am I missing smth
@@KabanchikKabanovskiy there are a handful of healing methods that lasting consequences doesnt affect. I know that stubborn roots and quick recovery are among them, but i think there are a few more that im forgetting.
a max heat run with every non conflicting boon + hammer would be very funny

You need some intense focus to do this with full heat, this is both so entertaining and stressful to watch. I love it lol

I was hoping to see if there's any special dialogue in the House after beating 64 Heat like there is when you complete 32 Heat
The Athena DD went away when you took off the keepsake, so I think it did work and it was just restoring skelly's DD.
You mentioned the mod can give chaos boons, but can the mod give chaos curses? If so, could be interesting to see a run with permanent chaos curses
I tried it out a long time ago, the mod doesn't give a curse when you get a Chaos boon oddly enough.
id love to see this become a regular thing to see what builds do best!

It's a subtle technique, you swing twice then delay hitting attack again just enough to not make it part of the combo.

Usually if you sell Athena DD it would still be there right? It's just the secondary effect that disappears.(idk if you can sell if but I assume the free DD doesn't disappear if the boon disappears for some reason) I'm guessing you still had a hidden DD of some kind

I love the concept of route-moded run !
Here is a small idea to make the next ones more fair :
You don't get free Boons at the start of the game.
But each time you get offered a Boon and you don't like it (or it doesn't fit your build) you roll it once and take whatever you got.
You'll try to sell it as soon as possible (to discard it) and replace it with the Boon of your choice (if you have the prerequisites), from the same God* (so you'll want to equip Keepsakes to force Gods) at the same rarity or 1 rarity higher (if eligible) with your mod. And you can try to not use the gold you got this way.
* or from another God in Tartarus/Asphodel, to simulate a lucky natural-god in the God Pool.
In bonus you can force a specific Hammer in the first room to guide your build in a way.
This doesn't apply to 64 Heat runs only, it could be a efficient way to practice 57+ Heat runs or to route a very goofy meme-run

And I guess stubborn doesn’t work because of lasting consequences?
It normally does work even with Lasting Consequences. Not 100% sure what happened there but some people have some interesting ideas here.
How about instead of 5 hand picked boons per Biome,
you pick up to 5 boon orbs to spawn: for example in Tartarus you could spawn 2 Athena, 1 Artemis, 1 Hermes, and 1 Zeus
then if you can convince chat you could level the boons you get out of those orbs to Epic or even Heroic
i'll go with stygian soul, Blizzard shot, Mirage Shot, Fully loaded.

I’m general, could you use the free dad fight save file as a way to clear 64 heat normally? Obviously you’d need to aim for a specific build and you’re gonna need to grind out a save file but it’s a cool idea
The 10th win fight you mean? Impossible since EM4 only is available AFTER that. But you can score a pretty high heat clear there if you're brave, got a 50 heat clear with Zeus shield myself on that one.

You could start with one boon von from each god - but also only one hammer and excluding duo. When you would get a boon from a certain god you can ignore/ delete that offer for a dou boon that includes that god instead. Maybe even including the very first free boon could make a keepsake worth it?
Idk. Could exchange Hermes with Hammers and the other way too?
It's really hard to make 64 playable but still an insane achievement lol

What if you had both Ares and Athena on like Rama or Chiron special with merciful end?
Assuming you put Ares on the special because of doom stacks, Chiron is a maybe, Rama might be too slow even with impending doom

Do something I noticed and I’m not sure if Hael or Twitch Chat noticed but from the start of the run, he chose to get Fully Loaded from Artemis and Hael clearly had Infernal Soul. Not sure if the extra casts would have impacted the run but I thought it was interesting to see that it didn’t work

Getting extra casts for Infernal Soul is a mirror ability. At maximum heat you don't get any mirror abilities.

It had certainly been done before, but doing it with 3 heroics and the spear build takes it to a whole new level.
The hardest thing in 64 heat is Randomly ability but if you can chooses you want by using mod yea its possible

is ares call not better than Athena for protection?
It’s worse because when you’re using the ares call you can’t attack or cast normally. The damage from ares call is tiny compared to the damage from Hunting Blades.
Ares call might be the worst call in the game honestly:/

Wouldn't this have been easier with Demeter Cast, Demeter Cast applies chill Boon, 10 Chill = Burst, Fully Loaded, Artemis/Demeter Duo Boon. Easy win.

I want to see this game get modded to all hell so somebody can make a max-heat, no-modded boons TAS run or something. That’s probably a really niche thing that nobody else cares about but I would still love to see it.

@@huevonesunltd The amount of enemies, enemy perks, the time limit, but most importantly Approval Process, which restricts your build into oblivion. It's a combination of every little bit of the pact of punishment limiting what you can do to survive and do damage.

It would take forever. You'd basically be resetting tens of thousands of runs until the rng gave you something manageable. The person who first did 61 heat spent months and something like 10000 of the attempts didn't even make it past Meg.
Baj beat 64 heat routed (rng manipulation to make the run perfect) a while back though. But that's both less entertaining than what Hael did and extremely painful to perform.
This video truly shows how unskilled this man truly is, and no, it's not about the cheat engine he shows in the video, but even a toddler would notice what he's trying to hide. Think about it, of all the boons he gets he ends up having Ares' attack AND Dire misfortune? Everyone knows that it's the most overpowered boon in the game and he just avoids commenting on it when he gets it. This is not just suspicious, but a clear sign that he had a second cheat engine that would allow him to find exactly what he needed without anyone knowing. Truly despicable but nothing surprising from such a bad player. Anyone who believes otherwise is just a sheep.
