This was co-written by the guitarist from Incubus, who became friends with the band when he met them on tour.
It feels exactly like what I would think a mashup of Incubus and Band Maid would sound like.
Thanks for the reaction Jammer. The music for this song was co-written with Mike Einziger of Incubus with the lyrics by Miku. The song had its live debut just hours before the release of the MV, when Band-Maid opened for Incubus in Tokyo. Mike played with Band-Maid for that debut.
Band Maid showing again that good music is timeless. You referenced the 80's. Others have said the 90's and 2000's for this song.

The Maids have a new album dropping in the summer. I think we will get the date of the release on May 10 when they do the annual Day Of Maid event where they put on a special show and make future announcements. also I expect a collab with The Warning as they are doing a special show with BAND-MAID on June 12 in Japan during the Warning Japan tour. cheers

Thought it was a great reaction. As many others, we were shocked in so many ways. No Maid battle armor. Not a heavy rock song...etc. IMHO, the first 30 seconds of all the reactors facial expressions has been priceless. 😂 PO!🕊
