Terraria - Outer World Spawning

I was just doing some simple bridges to prepare for my first attempt against Duke Fishron (one of the two bosses I haven't tried before). While standing near the edge of the world I realized something... you get to see enemies spawn!
It's such a little thing, but since monsters tend to spawn off-screen, I was rather amused to see it up close.
