Spaceblazer there's different games a lot of people have grown up with. For example, I grew up with Mario and DKC. Others grew up with Banjoo-Kazooi or Crash Bandicoot. There's a ton of great classics out there. I'm starting to play this collection of Jack and Daxter games and I'm exited. I've only played Daxter and Jak and Daxter the last frontier.
This game will never loose its charm, I played it ever since the first Jak and Daxter all the way till Jak 3 on the PlayStation 2 and when I got my hands on this game remastered in HD it was amazing. I am still hoping that naughty dog will make a Jak 4 and continue the story because that's just how great of a game this was. Until that happens or even if it never does I will still play these games regardless of how old I am.
The world building on this series is breathtaking. The artstyle and animation just blows my away to this day. I wish I could personally thank all this Devs for giving me an happy childhood. I couldn't wish for anything better

I never really had J&D in my childhood i only got to play a little bit of the beginning of the first game when i was younger and finally being able to play the games was awesome~i bought the HD re and i love it. I really COULD NOT put the controller down. The story line and art is great and now I'm in the mix of the fandom wanting more,waiting for Jak 4. Thank You Naughty Dog for making a Remaster of J&D i would never have been able to play it and experience it fully myself if you hadn't done this~
I miss Jak and Daxter ;_; They were my childhood, and at 18, I still play the games over and over again (wheater it's the HD collection or on the PS2) We need Jak 4 or even a reboot, Naughty Dog! I will never let that up!
And here I am in 2021, resentful, because they left the franchise behind. Such a special thing this game, other studios having great results with their old IP like Insomniac's Ratchet and Clank, and Naughty Dogs just ignoring the chance.
The sad truth is they have no idea how to continue it without majorly altering the IP which is why they cancelled the initial Jak 4 before moving on to TLoU.
I will keep watching and playing jak and daxter. I will never stop playing it. Its apart with ratchet and clank and sly cooper and Naughty Dog and also my child hood. Awesome PlayStation games never get old.
If you want Jak and Daxter Remastered for PS4. Please thumbs up this comment. Let Naughty Dog know that this game despite the fact being old it's still a great game from my child hood and would wish to play it on my PS4 again.
@@dugbowser5028 The Jak Collection on the PS4 is not the PS3 Remaster, its just an Emulator running the games, thats why you see the PS2 Logo at the start. The problem with the Emulated Versions are bugs and enormous performance problems. Also the remaster had a better resolution and remastered textures. The PS4 Versions are really a bad representation of the originals.
If you preordered uncharted the Last legacy they give you Jak and daxter for the PS4. It was like a little gift they give you, it's very nice of them to do that, but kinda sad as well because not everyone can get the game as of right now since it was a preorder exclusive
Loved this game as a kid and now my 5 year old has just conquered the final boss. He's still working on some cells but it's great being able to share my love of this game with him ❤

Oh, the nostalgia! I will never forget Jak & Daxter! It actually dominated most of my teenage years and influenced a lot of my decisions in life. When they say a video game can't change your life I say, "Oh, yes it can!" If it weren't for Jak & Daxter I would've never discover the sites that I discovered, made the friendships that are still strong to this day, made long broken connections with family, have the gall to write stories online, and even avoid serious mistakes that I would've made in life! Just naming all of this makes me wanna play again. Long live Jak & Daxter!
The HD collection is rough. But thinking about who created the game to begin with, and all the gritty details of Naughty Dog's engines, Mass Media did a fine job.
Never grew up with these games but kind of wish I did. I was a gamer even back then but didn't own a PS2. Glad to finally get around to playing them, on a PS5 of all things.
Recently bought the collection and played through the games again, without a doubt my favorite games of all time. This is the 5th time I've watch this video and it won't be the last.
Re-watching this since it's my birthday today! I'm now 23 years old. Remembered this series back on PS2 and adored it, platinumed all three games last year. This video makes me smile, something very few things do. I really wish there will be a sequel soon. Sly's getting one so it's fair that Jak and Daxter gets one. Only them left, Sly is getting one and Ratchet & Clank got many PS3 games.

Jak and Daxter series was such a big thing in my life 10 years ago, i would come home and spend most of my time on the games. made life easier to deal with y'know? Felt like i was in a different world, rather than dealing with stress of my own. i got straight into those games. from the moment The Precursor Legacy came out..wish they would do the game justice.. bring back the nostalgia for the old fans.. just remembering the teenage years. its a very personal feeling for me, Thank You Naughtydog.
gosh this game gives me sooooo much memories as a child. at the time I kept asking my parents for a ps2 (after I had seen it at my friends house) and this was the first game I played with my dad. heck we didn't know how to play or anything it was just awesome. thanks naughty dog for the fantastic times!
This was probably the best game I've played on my PS2 along with GTA: SA! Best game, developed by real artists and very enthusiastic people. Wish there would be more of these.. Good job NaughtyDog!

When I was younger, I completed and mastered every Crash Bandicoot game on the PlayStation1. Even Crash Bash! It was honestly an amazing time in my childhood. My first game that I ever owned was Crash 3 Warped. I still have it, its kinda scratched up, but works! Unfortunately I couldn't play any of the JakandDaxter series because I didn't have the luxury of owning a PS2. But now I can! Adventure, here I come!

I am going out to buy myself a PS3 and this updated collection of Jak and Daxter, put it all in a box and open it back up when my first son turns ten. Im 17 rite now and I know by then it will be obsolete but the pure amazement and memories of joy I received from the original PS2 version blew my mind and I know it will blow my sons mind in 20 or so years :)

These games had more character in that little ottsel than Skyrim had in it's whole world map. God bless you Daxtar! Can't wait to see where this franchise goes next :D

It's like it needs another remaster. I went and played it again recently (the remaster) and it's in 720p, with jaggedy edges everywhere because of no AA. It's crazy.
I miss games like these. I grow up with games like this and they were amazing. I feel like the games now theses days need to change and look back at theses games for some help.

Platforming is my fav type of gaming and more fun than FPS, racing and sport. Jak, sly, and ratchet few of the best platforming games on ps2
