Subscribed. Int was my first build and I did it because I heard that it was “easy mode” but of course it wasn’t. I was a glass cannon. My second playthrough I did a quality build and couldn’t believe how easy it was. Some things are easier as a mage and some things are harder. It’s fun either way.
Strength users have no right to be b1tching about easy mode when they can literally tank through everything and constantly stagger bosses through heavy attacks and jump attack spamming without really "learning the moves".
Running simulator for Elden beast is so true lmao, I was fighting it last night and getting so frustrated I couldn't get a swipe in or anything; it's SCHMOOVIN
Nope magic was kinda easy mode for me Elden ring was my first souls game and I used magic my first playthrough because I was trash at the time and bad at dodging and it made the game a breeze, the only boss that forced me to learn how to actually play and not stay at range all the time is malenia because she dodges magic projectiles
You are right. I finished the game with an arcane build, used faith based spells and a couple weapons. I never had damage problems. All it boils down is to know how to avoid damage from a boss. What you do to kill is irrelevant. Cell is clearly a very skilled player, therefore anything will look like easy mode. Intelligence is not easy mode , skilled mages make it look easy.
Str: starfists Dex: ROB and moonveil, and early game uchigatana Arc: bloodfiend’s arm or mogh’s spear Faith: maliketh’s blade or the blasphemous blade Int: night comet and some carian spells. Point is, every stat has a weapon that makes the game “easy mode”
Amazing Video, highlighting the true power of Intelligence and the tools available. I run a Heavy melee with 60int/50str lvl 200 build and for my next char I am highly considering going a high int build, just like yours. Subscribed.
I did too, dropped after what felt like hours and ended up being useless. then on another non faith/int character it dropped on the first snake sorcerer I killed
Faith/intelligence hybrid has been my favorite build now and it's not even close. In souls games I loved pyromancers but SONAF and staff of great beyond truly made this stat spread shine. Sub RL150 is possible and not even hard to pull off. Highly recommend people to try this out if they already haven't.
I will say my INT build did have an easier time over my Strength Faith build. Granted if you're using intelligence it does ironically allow you to play more strategically.
what makes int so OP is you can be be OP with just Int, and focus on vigor and mind once it’s high enough. Melee builds almost need to go into something like Int or Arcane to get OP with a cold or bleed attunement to get anywhere near the efficiency.
You can do the same thing with talismans and there’s usually a one shot video were he only upgrades strength and one were he only upgrades intelligence simple everything’s overpowered when abused
Only true int bros recognize the best spell and talisman combo in the game: _rock sling + arrow’s reach talisman_ Utter devastation for almost every boss. Including that pesky Elden Loch Ness monster.
@@Artem-eu3uv Well it's 30% debuff, so it's preety good. All bosses except Rennala have 40% resistence, so it brings them to 10%. But even without the moon spells you can still do good dmg, especially if you use Terra Magica.
@ivanvoloder8114 It just always seemed to me that these debuffs work a little differently, like with increasing the player's resistance, that the more buffs, the less effective they are. I thought that debuffs work the same way, that is, we get a debuff of not 30% but 25%, approximately. In any case, it will be necessary to check this.
my first build is pure int build its hit like a truck but a slap of anything kill me, anyway at was super fun but your video made me reborn my caracter because yep is alway fun to be a mage. Now my caracter can receive two slap before he dead new game+ is fun.
Well as a strength I can confirm that 0:03 this was my reaction maybe you could try to somehow make the golem fist OP AF, I don't know how you can do it but you can try and if you already used it then............ I don't know what you can do so maybe you could try the smithscript shield Have a magnificent day for a magnificent man❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A broken build, in my opinion, is a build that allows you to ignore the game's mechanics, you can kill bosses without learning how to dodge its attacks, its punishable windows, etc. You basically win without really knowing how to play. I did my 2nd playthrough with int build, and it wasn't like that at all. I still needed to know how to beat and counter everything. In my opinion, a Rivers of Blood or Rakshasa build is way more broken, they're literally "press one button to win".
The biggest lie ive been ever told about Ints builds to say its literally easy mode but i thought Mages can be so powerful and too risky to get jumped like low Vigor and less Armor
Im technically an intelligence and dex hybrid but with greatswords left handed sword with frost infusion and right with lightning...thats the true easy mode 😅 just jump attack and if it dont die repeat till it does most of the time it wont hit you because jump is op
@Myron90 in pvp i dont follow that same logic powerstanced greatswords have a great moveset outside of jump attacks theres just no need to use it against bosses aside from the rare occasion im knocked down and a boss is one shot ill just rolling double attack
You are playing like someone who has a lot of experience with meele and magic both. Than practiced using both. Most mage builds rely on magic and magic flask. Sword is used for weak enemies to save FP.

2 hits, stance break, on NG+7
Thank you for saying this bcuz omg

I think every build can be overpowered, there isn't a build that allows you to play on easy mode

Kamehameha build is easy on 99/100 bosses to be honest 😅

this must have taken alot of work to make, I loved the Drill at 12:42
❤️❤️❤️
Missed opportunity for the glintstone Kris lol, the ash on that hits as hard as the comet for less fp
“Wanna see a magic trick? I’m gonna make you… disappear!”-every Int build ever
Hahaha that Radahn stance kill in his meteor form my gosh wow
You farmed for the Gelmir staff? Man, if someone has that without cheats, deserves my respects

Faith magic is really fun the way I'm using it currently. I don't have the staff yet but when I do, I really might become op
I allways play int/faith with Prince of Death staff in main hand and any other staff that gives passive buff. It's the strongest catalyst in the game.
Intelligence fun to play as a ranni simp it's op as well style points variety plus mods as well my favourite school of magic
I love your videos you are so funny!! 😂
Appreciate it
Ronni with a rifle looks so natural to me😂
Unrelated note
I always imagine Igon as some one like rambo 😂
I had so much for with my int build in base game but abandoned it once I got rocked by the dlc. But it's still one of my fave builds!
Man you are absolutely Legend
❤️❤️❤️
That fan daggers was personal
My Night Comet playthrough was definitely my easiest. I thought it was even easier than my Blasphemous blade playthrough.
would love to see this with level 150 caster builds.

7:35 why have the Clayman’s Harpoon magic infused with Ice Spear instead of frost infused? I don’t understand
To break Bayle's poise without applying frost cause frost will make him go to phase 2 faster and the main point is to use comet azur
Bro literally only used Rellana's Twin Blade for style
😱😱😱

Why is intelligence so hated by the players?
They hate us because they ain't us
You know what's funny? You guys actually believe that's true
0:06 that’s just hurt my asss

That's dirty, you used faith buffs🤓
But seriously, what bosses are actually weakness to magic? Gargoyles, Godfrey and is that over?
Thats true, but you can make other bosses less resistent to magic with Moon sorceries.

Use the moon to lower their magic resistance
did you just call vyke a femboy
As for Ice Spear, doesn't it scale with dex and Int, not strength? Meaning the Clayman's Harpoon loses a lot of damage
