    So impressive!. I have started to use the cage concept that you use but not nearly as thought out, as divided, or using 1/2 round. It all makes perfect sense and I can now see the reason why you are able to , basically create mini areas of complex smaller pieces. I am an older woman on a fixed income and want to become part of getting to 200. So.. I am moving finances around to make that happen because now that I see your work, which fascinates me, I want more. Always grateful!!. 🙏🏼🌷

      Like you, I hadn't considered the mini areas but it makes sense when you see it. I'm in a similar position to yourself. I hope you have had fun creating!❤

    Thank you so much for these new videos. I couldn't wrap my mind around the process .I thought there would be a bunch of wires sticking out ,and used one at a time like some other tutorials iv seen. Now I understand that the piece is " built " .

    This is wonderful I was always afraid of to much bulk or not having enough wire to hold the stones. Thank You so much for a great video.

    Amazing work. Is the wire all 1/2 hard? Or soft?

  • @thewarlocke5303
    @thewarlocke5303 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So. I've learned some things from this. One of the things is.. This is way harder when all you have is round steel hardware store wire.

    • @RaftarkJewelry
      @RaftarkJewelry  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah, I’m sure the steel is a nightmare to manipulate 😂

    How would you recommend doing this for a tumbled stone?

    Thank you for sharing. What are some other places to get wire other than FireMountain and WireJewelry?

    • @RaftarkJewelry
      @RaftarkJewelry  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve never actually ordered from FireMountain, I primarily use Riogrande.com for all of the materials in these videos

    I'm wondering if I could use 20 gauge square for the framing? If not I can buy the 16 gauge square

    Do you ever make frames in copper to cut down on expense?

    • @RaftarkJewelry
      @RaftarkJewelry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not, I only use sterling silver for my pieces. Assuming I use 6in of 16g square like this for the frame it’s about $5-6 worth of silver
