Another vote for Glenn Gould but I loved hearing the others. Some gorgeous photos. I only saw pics of Nikoleyva old...she’s so lovely young. And young Clara Haskill so sweet. 💗🎵💗
Agreed about Glenn Gould, there is just something hypnotic and heartbreaking...
An excellent idea to put five great pianist’s together. I prefer Cortot and my girlfriend prefers Gould.
All of them are great, but my arrangement looks like this: 1. Wilhelm Kempff 2. Nikolayeva 3. Alfred Cortot 4. Clara Haskil 5. Glenn Gould. At the same time the Concerto itself is the greatest with its author I:S. Bach.

Hay un genio más igual a estos, el que diseño y compagino esto.
bellissimo confronto tra fuoriclasse, in un brano di tale bellezza che anche se fosse suonato da un dilettante sarebbe bello lo stesso. Comunque tra queste esecuzioni proposte quella che a me piace di più è quella della Nikolayeva, seguita da Gould.

Glenn Gould : of course the best !
Love this piece. Didn't like any of the interpretations. Sorry it it offends the church of Gould, but it's not for me. If I have to choose one, it's no 5.
Merci pour cette comparaison fort utile. Cortot, mon pianiste préféré qui fait dans Bach des rallentandi complétement à côté de la plaque... Pour moi le plus beau chant est celui de Clara Haskil, mais ce n'est pas original du tout comme avis.
It's funny, to me it feels like Cortot is totally off - timing is wrong, he comes in late, etc. Amateurish. But to others, he has the best rendition. Funny how taste can differ so much. Gould is the one for me, although this version is not his best.

Cortot a un gros soucis rubato-masturbatoire ici 😅. En tout cas il s'égare, c'est sans intérêt musical.
Nikolayeva accentue grossièrement et à contresens des notes c'est vulgaire et stupide.
Gould reste le maître pour Bach. Il a montré la voie pour les musiciens sérieux.
Il aurait tout de même fallu donner des indications sur les enregistrements.
